Cuevas Machine Company Inc. (CMC), a machine and fabrication company, offers a wide range of services that are useful in the areas of plant maintenance, plant repair, and/or new fabrications. CMC is a family-owned and operated business in South Mississippi. It was founded by Paul Cuevas in 1978. The business began in a small laundromat and was later moved to a barn where Paul's nephew, Todd Smith, joined him as a co-owner in 1985. In 1989 the two moved their business to the current location on Highway 53 in Poplarville, MS. CMC currently employs 45 people, many of whom work in the field at different locations. The facility consists of a 10,000 square foot machine shop along with a 14,625 square foot fabrication shop with 20 foot working height. No job is too large or too small; CMC handles everything from contract work with large companies to small repairs for individuals... Since opening in 1978, we have become masters of our craft.
