Dr. Amy Tam grew up in Michigan and followed the Wolverine path to earn her undergraduate degree in Biopsychology from the University of Michigan. She then followed the bright city lights of New York City and obtained her doctor of dental surgery degree from Columbia University. The love for the Big Apple led her to stay with Columbia University to receive her residency certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Trading her snow shoes for flip flops, Dr. Tam moved to Virginia Beach and has called it home for
Dr. Michael Newman was born and raised in Cleveland Ohio - home of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He received his undergraduate degree from Florida Gulf Coast University and his doctor of medical dentistry degree from the University of Florida. "Go Gators!"
Dr. Newman has called Virginia Beach home for the past 10 years. His passion for dentistry can be seen in his attention to detail in his dental work. His favorite aspect of dentistry is the relationships that are built with his patients: both in and out of the office.
Dr. Newman lives in the Redmill area with his wife Meredith, 2 year-old son, Zac and their golden retriever, Myers. Dr. Newman enjoys spending time outdoors fishing, boating, golfing and DIY projects around his home.
