April has more than 10 years of sales and marketing and management experience. She had been working in a print and digital marketing company before joining Whiteboard Geeks in 2020.

Barbara Pigg - CEO

Job Titles:
  • CEO
Barbara has 14 years Business Consultation experience as well as Strategic partnership development. She started her career in the Sports Entertainment industry running a venue's community relations and foundation then moved into Retail Consultation before joining the Geeks in 2018. She became CEO on January 3rd, 2022!

Cameron Robinson

Job Titles:
  • Chief of Hiring, Training and Support She / Her
Cameron loves destroying powerpoints and talking on the phone. She started with WBG as the head video editor in 2012, rising through the ranks to CEO with the support of Lance and a handful of great business books. Today, as Chief of Hiring, Training and Support, she helps the business while working on her film projects! She enjoys Jeopardy, dancing, Carl Sagan books and watching Lord of the Rings in Spanish. Currently, Cameron is producing a documentary of women on the radio in Mali called Sister Radio and a handful of science fiction short videos. Chelsea Graham

Job Titles:
  • Operations Manager
Chelsea holds down the fort at our home office in Richmond, Virginia. She is a data junkie who loves spreadsheets almost as much as she loves spreading paint onto canvas. When she's not crunching numbers and analyzing workflows, you can find her in the kitchen baking up edible art or in the studio struggling to remember which mug is coffee and which one is paint brush water.

Giselle Castillo

Originally from trenches of the medical field, Giselle is a nurse (LPN to be specific) turned production manager. Currently pursuing her Bachelors of Fine Art in Digital Illustration, she enjoys applying both her nursing and art mind to help others manage their creative projects.

Kurt Lefever

Kurt joined the Whiteboard Geek team in the beginning of 2022. When Kurt isn't working or making award winning podcasts, you can find him hiking or teaching the newest generation how to fish. If he isn't doing any of those activities, call the cops! Just kidding, check his garage to see what kind of car he's working on.

Lana Krumwiede

Job Titles:

Lana writes scripts for our videos. She joined the Whiteboard Geeks team in 2018. Her first published pieces were in children's magazines and now she has three science fiction novels, a picture book, and an anthology to her name. A perfect weekend for Lana would be attending a writing conference where they give out free books and chocolate.

Lance Johnson Sr.

Lance co-founded "Conversion Geeks LLC", now Whiteboard Geeks in 2011, after achieving fame in the ecommerce world by writing a handful of million-dollar sales letters. He is a man of many talents. On top of his degree in Chemical Engineering, he speaks fluent Spanish (honed from years of mission work in Chile and Honduras), passable French, basic Russian, Turkish and is making headway in Manadarin. He loves calculating mental math, rock climbing and attending early morning Mass.

Margo Soucek

  • Assistant Storyboard Artist She / Her
Margo works as an assistant storyboard artist for Whiteboard Geeks-though she was originally attracted to the company by their cool frog logo. She spends most of her other time working as a freelance art-monkey and general cartoon enthusiast. Margo's greatest passion is cartoons about silly little animals. She lives in southwest Virginia with two dogs, a human, and a bunch of shrimp. She has a degree in anthropology from Radford University, which is cool, but not as cool as drawing cartoons for a living.

Mario Dance

Job Titles:
  • CMO He / Him
Dr. Mario Dance advises Whiteboard Geeks and Med Messagers on medical content for clarity and verisimilitude. He works as a Clinical Research Veterinarian in charge of animal care at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, Virginia. He was the first man of color to graduate from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. For almost 15 years, he has also served as a consultant veterinarian with the Veteran's Administration providing animal care and research consultation. In his free time, he runs a Catholic Men's Group and gives talks on Racial Reconciliation from a Christian Perspective at universities and organizations around Virginia.

Michael Ryan

Originally working for Whiteboard Geeks as a Cold Email Specialist in 2020, Michael took a sabbatical from the company to explore the world of sales and marketing and made his way back in early 2022 where he rejoined the team as the Sales Development Manager. In his free time he enjoys reading a good book, spending time outdoors, and working on his small scale organic farm, Piedmont Pastures.

Mike DeVareness

Since studying Graphic Design (with a focus on illustration) at Al Collin's School of Graphic Design in Tempe, AZ Mike has enjoyed working a wide variety of creative positions with different companies before finding his forever home at Whiteboard Geeks. Mike is widely considered to be extremely geeky as he loves his job more than should be allowed and when he isn't creating storyboards or producing client videos, he can usually be found spending time with his wife and two children, preferably at the beach or engaged in his never-ending quest to find the best bacon cheeseburger in Virginia.

Phillip Hilliker

Job Titles:

By day, Phillip Hilliker toils as a script writer for Whiteboard Geeks, taking pride in breaking down complex subject matter into entertaining and educational nuggets. By night, he is a freelance writer, graphic designer, and illustrator creating monsters and portraying derring-do for role-playing games and kids' books. He also has way too many hobbies, including woodworking, building tabletop gaming terrain, and-to his family's horror-playing the accordion.

Seth Moreau

Richmond native by way of Maine, Seth is a retired and future comic strip artist who has drawn on every car he's ever owned and enjoys making lists of nicknames. Sienna Fleming

Hailing from Roswell, New Mexico, Sienna Fleming is our "out of this world" Project Manager. Sienna has a strong background in digital media and video editing, so she knows what it's like to be in the front lines of production. In her free time she likes to make cute characters out of cut paper and follow along with Bob Ross in MS Paint.

Skye King

Job Titles:
  • Assistant Project Manager
Skye helps Whiteboard Geeks manage their projects! A video-making machine imbued with the soul of a cartoon fox, Skye strives to collaborate with passionate people on creative endeavors. He spends his free time on personal projects and hopes one day to manage a YouTube production company.

Stephan Dartevelle Storyboard

  • Member to the Geeks
Stephan is a newer member to the Geeks, having previously only worked with them freelance. He's a VCU graduate with a degree in Communication Arts. He loves to draw and 3D-model prehistoric critters, video game fan-art, monsters, and round animals (sometimes combinations of these!). Some of his hobbies include obsessively min-maxing in video games and cooking weird things.
