HILL COUNTRY ALPACAS

Our aim is to maximise the fantastic properties of all of the fibre from our animals to produce stunning carded fibre, yarn and woven products. We have our own "cottage industry" picker and carder for processing the fibre and 2 looms for creating woven products as well as a rolling machine for producing unique, one of a kind felted scraves, bags, wall hangings and more!... We are a small farm midway between Katikati and Tauranga in the Bay of Plenty and we would love to share our passion and enthusiasm for our animals and all things fibre related with you. We are now concentrating on our flock of coloured Corriedale sheep and are no longer breeding alpacas.
