Darrell Smith leads a curated team of designers and integrators assembled to meet the unique needs of each project. Darrell's background and training in the arts as well as technical design is the foundation of his innovative and award winning work. Darrell grew up in Victoria, BC Canada. His parallel technical and musical journeys started at an early age. The church, a vibrant local arts community, a community TV station and a trusting school principle provided ample opportunity for Darrell to practice technical arts while still young. During his twenties, Darrell toured with national acts, founded Reality Media, an Interactive Post Production house, then went on to launch the Award Winning Electrix brand of performance signal processors. Off hours, Darrell and his wife Noreen, camped out in Youth Ministry developing young musicians and leading worship at local and regional events. In 2001 Darrell and Noreen moved to Los Angeles to join the Line 6 team in Product Design and Product Management roles. Along the way Darrell has remained an active session musician and occasional music producer. Over the last decade in Los Angeles, Darrell has designed or retrofitted more than two dozen AVL systems for local churches, venues and studios. Darrell brings a unique blend of artistic and technical experience, design thinking and innovation to every project.[/expand]
