Michelle Carroll Smith

I have been a member of the Lytle ISD family most of my life. I am a third generation Pirate as my grandmother, Teresa Naegelin Carroll graduated from Lytle High School in 1940 and my father, Alfred Lee Carroll, graduated in 1961 from Lytle High School. I graduated in 1981. My children graduated from Lytle High School in 2013 and 2016 and were the fourth generation of my family to attend Lytle schools. Lytle ISD has been my place of employment since 1987. I was an elementary teacher for 7 years and became assistant principal of the Elementary in 1994. In September 2000, I moved to Central Office as Assistant Superintendent and was named Superintendent in December 2002.
