Tom McCormick

Job Titles:
  • Executive Assistant
Tom was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA where he spent his formative years giving tours of historic sites in period garb (he now excels at walking backwards and telling a good story). He then attended Wagner College, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree, and recently earned a Master's in Branding from the School for Visual Arts. Upon joining the workforce, Tom discovered that he loved organization, timeliness, making people's day better, and trying to guess lunch orders - so he parlayed that into being an Executive Assistant. Tom has worked in various industries with a myriad of personalities - on Wall Street for Deutche Bank and Barclay's Capital, at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, and at ViacomCBS for the Chief Creative Officer of Nickelodeon as well as the Global President of Consumer Products. Tom is currently assistant to the SVP of Communications, Advertising and Partnerships at NBCUniversal. In his spare time, Tom loves to read, garden, cross stitch, crochet, knit, and bake (he is truly a Golden Girl at heart). At Martha Stewart's suggestion, Tom even started an Etsy shop (@tomtomcrafts), which he's had less time for since he and his husband purchased a fixer-upper home in the suburbs. Tom has always been a curious person who tries to find logic and humor in any situation. He is looking forward to sharing his experiences as well as learning more about being an Elevated Assistant.
