I moved to Newcastle and established Mobile Vet Newcastle providing a home call service to companion animals. Originally the practice serviced a lot of elderly clients who more often than not did not own or drive a car and couldn't always rely on friends or relatives to transport their beloved pets to the vet, as well as clients who for various other reasons could not get their pet to the vet. I was also one of the few veterinarians at the time who provided an emergency service to clients 24 hours and a lot of my clients still today are those that I met in the early hours of the morning.
