Dan Mullins

Dan grew up in a small farming town in central Illinois called LeRoy. He attended Parkland Community College where he received his associate degree in Landscape Design and Management. Throughout and following college, Dan worked in logistics for over 10 years before moving to Michigan in 2016. In 2018, he and Dr. Limbaugh purchased Montrose Veterinary Hospital where he transitioned into the practice manager. Not only does he handle the day to day business, but you will also find him mowing, snow-plowing, landscaping, answering phones, assisting clients, doing repairs, and anything else needed to keep our hospital running smoothly. Dan and his wife live in Millington with their 4 dogs and 2 cats. When not at work, Dan enjoys cheering on the Green Bay Packers, grilling, boating, and trail riding with his friends and family.

Dr. Jacqulyn Kildow

Dr. Jacqulyn Kildow is from Linden, Michigan where she graduated high school in 2005. She attended University of Michigan-Flint for her undergraduate bachelor's degree in Biology, minoring in Chemistry and History. She graduated as a member of Phi Alpha Theta, the national history honors society. During undergraduate school, she began working in veterinary medicine and continued to hold many positions in the field for 11 years prior to fulfilling her dream as a veterinarian. Dr. Kildow graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2023 wither her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Kildow's special interests include client communication and education, dermatology, behavior medicine and ophthalmology. Dr. Kildow lives in Fenton, Michigan with her husband, young son and three long-haired dachshunds. She loves to spend quality time with her family by exploring new places, bike riding, kayaking and baking.

Dr. Maddy Moon-Sexton

Dr. Maddy Moon-Sexton grew up in Swartz Creek, Michigan and graduated from Swartz Creek High School in 2014. She attended University of Michigan-Flint for her undergraduate degree in Biology through the honor's program, where she participated in veterinary centered research, worked at a small animal hospital as an assistant, and ran tutoring sessions. Dr. Maddy graduated from undergraduate and started her veterinary schooling in 2018. During veterinary school, she was the American Kennel Club representative, a tutor for underclassmen, and worked in the emergency department part time. She graduated in May of 2022 from Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Maddy has special interests in honey bee medicine, feline medicine, and client education. In her free time, she likes to read, embroider, cook, and play video and board games. She lives in Midland, Michigan with her husband, dog, and three cats. Dr. Maddy is excited to be starting her career here at Montrose Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Samantha Limbaugh

Dr. Limbaugh is a native of Swartz Creek, Michigan where she was raised on a small family farm. During her childhood, her love for animals truly grew along with an interest in medicine. Dr. Limbaugh graduated from Swartz Creek High School in 2007 prior to attending Michigan State University. During her undergraduate career, she completed a live-in internship at a small animal practice, participated in several equine research projects, and volunteered with Mid-Michigan Cat Rescue. She earned her bachelor's in Animal Science in 2010 prior to moving to Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. During her time in veterinary school, she worked part time at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine and volunteered at a small animal hospital during holiday and summer breaks. Dr. Limbaugh graduated from the University of Illinois with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Following graduation, she returned to her hometown to begin her career as a small animal veterinarian. In 2018, she purchased Montrose Veterinary Hospital where she continues to care for pets. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is establishing relationships with clients and patients to help build the best human-animal bonds. Dr. Limbaugh lives in Millington with her husband, four dogs, and two cats. In her free time she enjoys reading, gardening, traveling, boating, trail riding, and spending time with friends and family.

Emily Graduated

Emily Graduated from Birch Run High School in 2020. She began her college education at the University of Michigan Flint for one year prior to transferring to Baker College to pursue a degree in Veterinary Technology. After a year at Baker, she decided to join the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician program to earn her degree. Emily has 3 special needs rescue kitties along with 1 dog. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends, volunteering at rescues, camping, fishing, or anything else outdoors.
