Mt.Pisgah Hospital was incorporated in september, 1991 to provide comprehensive primary and secondary healthcare services to the then - growing population in Alimosho area. At that time, there was virtually no private medical cover in the area. The founding directors were Dr. Gbenga Idowu, a medical practitioner and Mrs. Yetunde Idowu, a legal practitioner. Mt Pisgah hospital opened to the public on the 27th february 1993 and has been providing healthcare services to both corporate and individual clients. Among the early corporate clients were NITEL, NNPC, Dangote plc, UBA, Omega Bank, First Bank Plc, Aiico Plc, Eko Hotel, Xerox Ltd, Niger Insurance etc. However, with the introduction of the National Health Insurance Scheme, most of our corporate clients now access healthcare from us through the Health Maintance Organizations.
