AMY FOLK - CEO

Amy is one of the founding members and managing partners of BA Folk. She is a litigator with experience in a variety of practice areas including securities law, complex commercial litigation, and products liability defense. Amy also brings large-firm litigation experience to the firm. Amy was a litigator in the Mass Tort practice group at Womble Bond Dickenson, LLP where she represented major medical centers, manufacturers, and service providers on matters involving products liability, toxic torts, explosions, and medical malpractice. Amy is a wife, a mother of two (13 and 10 yr.) and she currently serves on the boards of directors of the Cary Ballet Company and MPMS Spot-Light Theatre. From these activities, Amy brings meticulous organization, energy and a sense of humor. Additionally, when advocating for her clients, Amy brings an intensely competitive attitude, honed from her years as a Division I athlete and coach.

Brice Bratcher

Brice Bratcher and Jeremy Adams founded the North Carolina law firm of Bratcher Adams, PLLC, in late 2012 and shepherded the firm through its early growth. Through fierce and loyal services to hundreds of clients, the firm has grown into one of the premier boutique law firms in Cary, Raleigh and the greater Triangle area. Now known as Bratcher Adams Folk, PLLC, or BA Folk for short, the firm has entered the next stage of growth as it begins to expand, bringing in new and talented attorneys who will enable the firm to more fully and comprehensively serve the diverse needs of clients.

JEREMY ADAMS

As a founding member of Bratcher Adams and then BA Folk, Jeremy is excited about the firm's growth and the chance to continue to provide great service to his clients. Jeremy's practice focuses on education cases, family law cases, and criminal cases.

RANDY HERMAN

Job Titles:
  • PARTNER
Randy Herman practices in the areas of land use and commercial real estate transactions. His goal is to guide clients through the entire real estate acquisition and development process, including contract drafting, title review, zoning/permitting, lender negotiation and closing. He regularly represents developers and property owners throughout the state in rezoning matters, variances, and appeals of zoning violations. Randy is active in advocating for the interests of property owners as a member of the Board of Directors of the Triangle Community Coalition and a member of the Raleigh-Durham Chapter of NAIOP, where he sits on the Governmental Affairs Committee. He is also a member of the North Carolina Bar Association's Real Property Section and Land Use Section and a member of the Board of Directors of the Real Estate Lawyers Association of North Carolina (RELANC). Randy attended law school at North Carolina Central University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude in 2013. During law school, he served as a law clerk for The Honorable Judge Robert C. Hunter on the North Carolina Court of Appeals and was a Senior Editor on the North Carolina Central Law Review. Randy is an occasional speaker on real estate and zoning matters. He is the only practicing attorney sitting on the North Carolina Land Records Advisory Board. He also served the public as a former member of the Hillsborough and Orange County Boards of Adjustment.
