PRISCILLA'S PET PORTRAITS

I am delighted to combine my love of pets with my love of painting to provide you with something special: a custom portrait of your beloved pet, painted with oils on canvas... I was born and raised in Brazil by missionary parents. My father was quick to notice my interest in art and arranged for me to take painting lessons from a family friend in my teens. She taught me the basics of oil painting and a greater love of the art. After graduating high school in Brazil, I seriously considered studying art in the USA but opted instead for a more reliable vocation - teaching. Painting would remain a hobby throughout the years, encouraged by friends, private instructors and various classes at The Art Students League in New York City and Silvermine Art Center.
