PROBLEM CHILD QUILTS

My name is Landy and I've had a needle in my hand since I was about 5 or 6. I was either creating clothes for my Barbies or learning how to do needlepoint, cross stitch and many other fun projects. As a teenager I would sew my own clothes but never considered creating quilts until I married. My 1st quilt was a simple queen sized quilt that comprised of blue and pink 4 inch squares in a Block Cabin pattern with a simple border. It was my introduction into what would become a love affair. I was hooked and quilted off and on for many years while raising our kids and working... Long arm sewing is the process of combining (or sandwiching) the finished top of a quilt, the batting, and backing material using a large sewing machine.
