Shift Health Accelerator governs our work using a shared leadership model to allow for multiple voices, on-demand expertise, and co-leadership of new ideas and decision-making. Our shared leadership model is built upon best practices in the fields of cooperative governance, organizational development, and emergent leadership. Our shared leadership principles are: Shared Power & Influence, Trust & Accountability, Inclusive Leadership, and Dynamic Communication & Problem-solving. The model has been adapted, recognizing the impacts of systemic inequities and aims to re-center community leadership for more equitable, transparent and shared leadership approaches within our team and across all of our work.
