A select number of students at a public school will be identified as having a disability which involves slow processing speed as a primary diagnosis or secondary condition. Slow processing speed can impact a student's ability to access the curriculum. Teachers and paraprofessionals can accommodate for slow processing speed by purposefully implementing adjustments and accommodations.
