TRA Valuations was founded by John G. Bennett, CFA® and is located in the Hudson Valley in New York and with an office in SW Florida. Mr. Bennett has more than 30 years of investment analysis experience. He has previously served on the investment committee of a $1.2 billion registered investment advisor, assisted in the management of a $2 billion defined benefit pension plan, and performed other roles involving equity, fixed income, and alternative investments. He graduated with an MBA in finance from Fordham University and a BBA in accounting from Siena College. Mr. Bennett is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®). First awarded in 1963, the CFA® Charter is often referred to as the gold standard of professional credentials within the global investment community. Mr. Bennett is also an Accredited Member (AM), Business Valuation, American Society of Appraisers.
