Ms. Walters is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant (1987), Certified Fraud Examiner (2002), Chartered Business Valuator (2012) and Certified Family Mediator (2016). She has over 25 year's experience in forensic accounting investigations and business valuation. She has testified in the BC Provincial and Supreme Court on matters involving fraud, business interruption losses, personal income losses, shareholder disputes, business valuation and financial divorce matters. Ms. Walters is frequent speaker on topics relatings to fraud and business valuation. She is the current instructor for the Canadian Professional Accountants of BC regarding fraud awareness and prevention. She has taught university level courses in fraud and auditing. Ms. Walters started her career in Montreal after graduating from McGill University with a Bachelor of Commerce. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to work in public and private practice in Toronto, Sydney, Los Angeles and Vancouver. Ms. Walters lives in Ladner, BC with her family and beloved pet Emma (a Westie). In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, bike-riding and acrylic landscape painting.
