Dr. Christine Athwal

Dr. Christine Athwal received her Bachelor of Science degree at UBC. Following her undergraduate degree, she attended Ross University School of Medicine where she obtained her medical degree. She then completed her three year post graduate training in family medicine in Syracuse, NY at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Centre. Dr. Athwal started working at West Coast Medical Group in January 2017. She is very interested in the continuity of care with patients of all ages.

Dr. Manraj Johal

Dr. Johal grew up in Surrey and graduated from Semiahmoo Secondary. He obtained his undergraduate education in behavioral neuroscience from UBC. Dr. Johal completed his post-graduate training as the Chief Resident in family medicine at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee, Florida. Dr. Johal's professional interests include participation with the Peace Arch Hospital's Hospitalist program, preventative medicine and complex disease management. Dr. Johal is also a Clinical Instructor with the UBC Medical Faculty Outside of work Dr. Johal enjoys playing Hockey, Tennis, snowboarding and spending time outdoors.

Dr. Rajeev Mangat

Dr. Rajeev Mangat attended Simon Fraser University graduating with a BSc with a degree in kinesiology. Following his BSc, he graduated from Western States Chiropractic College and worked in Surrey as a chiropractor for 10 years. Deciding to return to medical school, Dr. Mangat graduated with a residency from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Rajeev started with West Coast Medical Group in August 2012. Dr. Mangat has particular interest in the care of sport injuries and soft tissue injuries, he also specializes in trigger point injection treatment.

Dr. Toma J Timothy

Dr. Timothy grew up in Powell River BC. He attended Trinity Western University for his Undergraduate education in Biology and Human Kinetics, and completed medical school at University of British Columbia. He completed his post graduate training at the University of Alberta. Dr. Timothy has many interests including spending time with his wife and three daughters. Dr. Timothy enjoys being outdoors; Fishing, snowboarding and mountain biking. Dr. Timothy has special interests in family health care and First Nations health, Dr. Timothy is also a Clinical Instructor with the UBC Medical Faculty.
