Fast forward to 2018 when Kim got laid off from her job of 22 years. Mel had been hatching a plan to turn his hobby into his own business when he retired from the post office. Now that Kim had time on her hands, the business plan was initiated. A CNC machine was purchased and we began getting ready for the machine's arrival. Now Mel and Kim operate Wofford Wood Designs, Inc. in Walterville, Oregon. Our mission is to create products that are worthy of becoming an heirloom.
