Our name Hen & Chickens is thought to have come from the name given to the bottles ale was sold in; a hen being the larger, and chicken, the smaller... Our B&B was built as a pub in about 1820, making it part of Ludlows rich heritage. Later, in 1999, it was converted into a guest house and has been a popular place to stay in Ludlow since, often featured in national press...
