E-CAT CNC is marketing and education organization that is funded by a joint venture of Newfangled, ArtsoftDivision and IntervalZero, KINGSTAR Division. The focus of the organization is to educate customers and potential CNC users as to the advantages of embracing standards like EtheCAT, PLCopen, OPC-UA and more in a traditional CNC setting... At E-CAT CNC, our mission is to educate the world about the breakthroughs that EtherCAT and emerging new standards are enabling to the CNC industry... Our CNC software brand: Mach, was first designed to run on Microsoft Windows, making it more accessible to the majority of computer users and capable of working with the majority of hardware and software. Today, Artsoft continues to be flexible and lead the way as an open standard cnc controller that can use anyone's hardware, PC, Motors, Drives, etc. and not be locked into a specific brand of proprietary hardware.
