Our purpose is to improve birth outcomes for high risk women, by addressing the two largest risks to healthy births-low birth weight and adverse psychosocial exposure... We are a culturally specific prenatal care model that recruits families, engages the African American community, convenes partners, leverages our network of experts, develops media messages, and offers training and technical assistance to launch initiatives and grow organizations... We are a voice for prenatal African American maternal and child health. We provide knowledge and resources for prenatal African American maternal and child health and connections to local, national, and international resources.
