Justin T. Irving

Justin T. Irving has been assisting investors since 1994. He started his career in the insurance industry, serving as a California Regional Sales Manager for American Service Life and West Coast Zone Manager for National Group Life. In 1994, he founded Irving & Associates Financial Services in San Diego, CA, which over time has become Irving Advisory Group. Justin has lectured widely on various financial topics, having conducted hundreds of seminars for the general public. Justin holds the professional designations of Certified Financial Planner™ and Enrolled Agent. As a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) he has completed the rigorous CFP® certification process that includes demanding education, examination, experience and ethical requirements. Anyone can call themselves a "financial planner", however; only those who have fulfilled the certification and renewal requirements of the CFP® Board, including annual continuing education requirements, can display the CFP® certification marks. Bound by the CFP® Code of Ethics, Justin has agreed to act fairly and diligently when providing you with financial planning advice and services, putting your interests first, which is known as the "Fiduciary Standard". This gives you a sense of security that he will provide you and your family with guidance throughout your lifetime, addressing specific concerns as needed. As an Enrolled Agent, Justin helps clients with the complicated tax issues that present themselves and has earned the privilege of representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. Enrolled Agent status is the highest credential the IRS awards. Individuals who obtain this elite status must adhere to strict ethical standards and complete annual continuing education courses.
