Attorney Andrew P. Hill

Mr. Hill handles most matter types, including litigation, and is admitted to the Virginia bar. Mr. Hill was born in New Hampshire but moved with his family to Virginia at the age of six. He attended public schools in Fairfax County before choosing to attend Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance. Following the completion of his undergraduate studies, Mr. Hill returned to the Commonwealth of Virginia to attend law school at the College of William & Mary, where, among other things, he served as Senior Articles Editor for the William & Mary Bill of Rights Journal. Prior to forming Mata & Hill PLC, Mr. Hill practiced law in Northern Virginia and the northern Shenandoah Valley as an associate attorney with two small but highly respected law firms, developing particular emphases in the areas of real estate, estate planning, litigation, and homeowners association law. Mr. Hill resides in Warren County with his wife and their seven children, where in his spare time he enjoys gardening, animal husbandry, and generally attempting to live a self-sufficient lifestyle. Mr. Hill and his family are parishioners at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Front Royal.. Attorney Dominic J. Vieira

Mr. Vieira was born and raised in Virginia and graduated from Seton High School in Manassas in 2008. He received his Bachelor of Arts in History, magna cum laude, from Christendom College in 2012. After a period of career discernment, Mr. Vieira chose to attend law school at Regent University in Virginia Beach and from there to pursue a career as a JAG in the United States Marine Corps. An injury during officer training put a hairpin turn in that career path. Returning to civilian life, Mr. Vieira served as an Assistant Public Defender in Winchester before being offered an associate position with Mata & Hill. Mr. Vieira assists Messrs. Mata and Hill in their representations while honing the necessary skills to help build the firm independently. In his spare time, Mr. Vieira indulges in philosophical, historical and fantastical reading, pipe smoking, woodworking and extemporaneous debating as an alumnus of his alma mater's Chester-Belloc Debate Society. Attorney Vincent J. Mata

Mr. Mata focuses his practice on Wills, Trusts, Estates and Elder Law matters and is admitted to both the Virginia and West Virginia bars. Mr. Mata was born in Chicago, the oldest of six children, and grew up in rural northern Illinois. Torn between attending the University of Chicago and the University of Notre Dame, Mr. Mata ended up at the home of the Fighting Irish. During his undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame, Mr. Mata decided to test a religious calling and entered a Roman Catholic seminary. Later discerning that this was not the right path for him, Mr. Mata moved on to graduate studies in Philosophy at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, before going on to law school at George Mason University School of Law (now Antonin Scalia Law School) in Arlington, Virginia. Mr. Mata moved with his wife and young family to the northern Shenandoah Valley while still in law school, attracted by the beauty of rural living and the wholesome community. After some time with a small, general practice firm, Mr. Mata founded and managed for five years his own law practice, Shenandoah Estate Planning & Elder Law PLC, which focused entirely on estate and elder law matters. When approached by Mr. Hill about expanding the firm's offerings and forming a partnership, Mata & Hill PLC was born. Mr. Mata is an avid amateur astrophotographer and also occasionally teaches as an adjunct professor of philosophy at Christendom College in Front Royal, Virginia. His wife and four children are parishioners at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Front Royal, Virginia.
