Magdalena Tomaskova

She studied classical guitar at Prague Conservatory in Czech Republic and has been working in music education both in Prague and in London. ms Tomaskova likes to support students to find their own voice and creative expression and has previously worked with multiple choirs including supporting the performance was Handel's Messiah at Royal Albert Hall. Her interest is mental health at school, she is currently studying MSc at Division of Psychiatry University College London. She has worked with students with special needs and emotional and behavioural problems. She believes in transformational power of music education. She plays guitar, piano, recorder, a little bit of drums. She is always curious to learn a new instrument, currently thinking about violin and playing the organ.

Miss Helen Gardner

Helen Gardner is the PSHE Co-ordinator. She read English Literature and Women's Studies at Roehampton University and has a PGCE in Early Years from Goldsmiths College, London. Miss Gardner loves the variety, creativity and spontaneity of teaching young children and has a special interest in children with special educational needs.

Miss Lily Parkinson

Lily attended Exeter University and studied Law, but after having her daughter decided that teaching was the way to go! She has worked in several prep/primary schools and has a special interest in SEN support. Outside of school, Lily can be seen walking in Richmond Park, coffee-in-hand or trying to succeed at Pilates.

Miss Paula Finch

Paula has applied her many talents to multiple roles within Park Hill. As an experienced practitioner in Second Steps, she is particularly skilled at helping the children overcome their initial nerves about starting nursery and then helping them develop into happy and confident young people.

Miss Saffron Blevin

Saffron is an experienced leader of our nursery team here at Park Hill. With a wealth of talents at her disposal, Saffron is well organised and has exceptional knowledge of the Early Years curriculum, including its 2021 update. As a classroom practitioner, Saffron makes fantastic use of physical activities and games to keep learning fun and engaging. Saffron is a keen horse rider and outside of work time she enjoys looking after the horses at a local equestrian centre.

Mr Alistair Bond

Job Titles:
  • Headmaster
Alistair started his career as a Physical Education teacher at an all boys preparatory school in Northwood before heading to a large international school in Bahrain as Head of PE. Following six years in Bahrain he was promoted to Deputy Head and then Headmaster at the British School Tripoli, Libya. It was during his time as Head that the war broke out in Libya which necessitated the evacuation of children and families. Alistair joins Park Hill following four years as a Headmaster in the United Arab Emirates. As befits a school that prides itself as a family, his wife Rebecca has also joined the school as a teacher and his daughter will be wearing the uniform with pride and enjoying the rich variety of learning opportunities provided at Park Hill.

Mrs Guniz Akoglu

Job Titles:

Guniz Akoglu first became part of the Park Hill School family as a parent in 2012. She joined the Early Years team in 2015, after her children had left. Mrs Akoglu has a Bachelor of Education degree from the Univesity of Marmara in Istanbul. She is particularly keen to inspire the pupils with the Park Hill School values.

Mrs Hannah Kilb

Job Titles:
  • Teacher
Hannah Kilb specialized in Maths during her BA in Primary Education at Kingston University and loves to teach the subject. Her hobby is car maintenance and she brings that expertise to the classroom when she teaches the children problem-solving and science.

Mrs Katherine Forsyth

Katherine attended Stirling University where she studied Marketing and Business Studies. After working for advertising agencies in London, Katherine retrained to become a teacher in 2004. Katherine has a passion for teaching Geography and English and is a keen reader. Her hobbies are baking and walking her very mischievous dog.

Mrs Lucy Richards

Mrs Richards is multi-talented musician who in addition to leading the instruction of classical instruments such as flute and piano, has a particular skills in developing the digital side of music production and utilisation of technology to create music. At Park Hill Mrs Richards has fulfilled many roles including Head of Humanities along with coordinating the SEND provision.

Mrs Nektaria Mousi

  • Latin Teacher, Nursery Teachers
Nektaria Mousi attended Classical Studies and Pedagogy at the University of Athens. She is a dedicated and engaging teacher with long experience working with children of all ages in the UK and abroad. She loves creating a pleasant and enjoyable environment in the classroom to bring motivation in the learning process. On summer holidays Nektaria enjoys exploring with her family the Greek islands and the rest of the year walking in the peaceful English nature.

Mrs Rebecca Bond

Job Titles:
  • Head of Prep School, Year 3 Class Teacher
Rebecca, following the completion of her B.Ed degree at the University of Reading, immediately joined a leading preparatory school in Maidenhead as a Year 3 class teacher before moving to St. Christopher's School in Bahrain as Head of Year 3. Following six years in Bahrain, she moved to the British School Tripoli, Libya as Year 5 teacher and latterly as Head of Art. Following evacuation from Libya she moved to Abu Dhabi where she worked in a large international school as Head of Year 4 and then to Dubai where she was a Year 5 class teacher and Head of Science. She is delighted to be working in a school that places such emphasis on providing the children with a wide, balanced and creative curriculum.

Ms Georgina Walker

Miss Georgina, as she is known, trained in ballet, tap, modern dance and drama from the age of three. She worked for Thames Television on "Magpie", "Rainbow" and "The Sooty Show" and has danced in television and theatre productions. Miss Georgina enjoys writing and devising the original productions for the pupils at Park Hill and loves to watch their confidence grow. She is also a trained therapist and works with children with special needs.
