Dr Andrew Tucker

Dr Tucker is an active member of The Australian Dental Association (ADA), Australian Society of Periodontology (ASP), the Australian Osseointegration Society (Dental Implants), The International Team of Implantology (ITI) and the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Periodontists (ANZAP) - the peak professional body representing periodontists in Australia and New Zealand. Dr Tucker has also undertaken volunteer work in Nepal on a number of occasions, providing dental services to remote villages and training local dental therapists. Dr Andrew Tucker began practising periodontics in Collins Street in 2004, when he completed his three-year postgraduate Masters speciality training (MDSc) in Periodontics at Melbourne University, after almost 15 years in general practice. Collins Street Periodontics formed in 2010, when the practice expanded and moved across the road into its current location.

Dr Suman Bellur

Dr Suman Bellur graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2007 with a Bachelor of Dental Science (BDSc Hons). She practised as a general dentist in Shepparton and Melbourne, Victoria for six years, in both the private and public sectors, which provided her with comprehensive experience in all facets of general practice. Having fostered a keen interest in Periodontics, Dr. Bellur returned to the University of Melbourne to undertake her specialty training in Periodontics. Throughout her practicing career, Suman has been heavily involved in the Australian Dental Association (ADA), having served terms on the Dental Council, Finance, Risk and Audit and Continuing Professional Development Committees. She has been awarded the Pierre Fauchard Academy bursary for outstanding academic performance and was inducted into the Academy in 2013. She has completed her primary examinations for the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. For several years Suman has been a demonstrator and examiner of dental students at the University of Melbourne and LaTrobe University. She is a current member of the ADA, Australian Society of Periodontology (ASP), Australia and New Zealand Association of Periodontology (ANZAP) and International Team of Implantology (ITI). Suman has a compassionate and gentle nature and always strives to provide her patients with the highest quality of care in all facets of Periodontics. In her spare time, Suman is a keen fitness enthusiast having competed in several fitness competitions.
