We started out as a training company, moved into IT support and then web development and branched into hosting in the 1990s. What was it like back then? Well, we paid £12,000 a year for a 512 Kbps line. Our dedicated servers sat in a "data centre" under the office stairs. Thankfully, things have moved on considerably since then and, having operated our own data centre facilities for the best part of 20 years, we're now operating across multiple cloud IaaS providers.
