FIVELANDS - Key Persons
Angharad qualified from Cambridge University in 2011 and has worked at Fivelands since 2014 taking most of the consultations at Moseley and providing in-patient care. She has an interest in medicine particularly kidney disease in cats. Angharad also offers in-house microscopy which assists the rapid diagnosis of skin tumours and infections. When Angharad is not working she is usually found entertaining her two young children.
Caroline has worked within the pet industry since 2012, joining the Fivelands team in 2020. Caroline is the Purina nutritional champion at the Yardley branch. She is a mom to twin boysand a 12 year old Bichon Frise called Rosie. She enjoys spending time with family, walking Rosie and going to the theatre
Cassie graduated from The University of Liverpool in July 2022 and joined Fivelands soon after, having enjoyed many years seeing practice with us as a student. She enjoys Canine and Feline medicine, and is always keen to listen to any concerns you may have, striving to be as helpful as possible when it comes to getting the best outcome from your pet. She has a soft spot for a Fox-Red Labrador or a Border Terrier with attitude. In her spare time, you might find her cold-water swimming, wakeboarding or walking her dog Parker.

Christian qualified from Glasgow University. He became a partner of Fivelands in 2001 and since 2018 he took the role of Clinical Director. Christian has an interest in challenging cases, and all aspects of greyhound medicine and surgery. He has a Labrador called Willow. Outside of work he leads the worship music in his local church and enjoys a pub quiz.

Debbie joined the team in 2016, having been a long standing client. She has had many rescue Greyhounds over the years, currently has 2 lovely Greyhounds called Missy and Roxy. Outside of work, she enjoys walking the dogs and spending time with her twin granddaughters.
Diana graduated in 2016 and has joined our team as a surgical vet in March 2020. She is based at our Moseley branch. Diana has an interest in all aspects of small animal surgery and likes to offer the highest levels of care to each one of her patients, therefore, in 2021 she graduated from a surgical certificate in soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, travelling and spending time with her 3 cats.

Erika qualified in 2019 from Warsaw University in Poland! She went there as an international studentto meet new people and experience new cultures. Erika started with Fivelands in February 2022 and enjoys both medical and surgical cases. She has a keen interest soft tissue surgery and medical work-ups. Erika has 1 dog called Hime who she loves taking long walks and new adventures.

Izzy is a degree nurse from Solihull college on placement with us. She can found at the Yardley and Moseley Branches and will be finishing her degree in the summer. Izzy enjoys inpatient care, especially medical cases. Izzy has a retired racing greyhound called Keeley who enjoys her days sunbathing and dozing.

Julie has worked at Fivelands on and off for nearly 30 years. She has a jack russell terrier called Harvey, and a collection of stray cats that live in her garden. She practices karate and sports massage in her spare time, although not usually at the same time.

Kate joined Fivelands in 2017. She is an experienced veterinary surgeon who has further qualifications in feline medicine, although she also enjoys surgery and endoscopy. In her spare time Kate enjoys baking, cake decorating and horse riding.

Sophie started at Fivelands October 2021 as a degree student nurse. She is currently waiting to sit her final exams in the spring. Sophie enjoys a theatre shift, anaesthesia and exotics. Sophie has a large variety of pets, 3 dogs, 2 budgies, 2 frogs, 5 rats 2 tarantulas, 1 snake, 1 leopard Gecko and 1 bearded dragon.

Zoe qualified from Bristol University in 2015 and joined us shortly after. She enjoys getting to know her patients well and supporting those pets with long-term health conditions. She particularly likes dogs with a bias for mad spaniels like her own Springer, Daisy. Zoe provides consultations at both our Hall Green and Moseley branches. Outside of work Zoe loves sampling all the local restaurants and competing in pub quizzes.
