Dilia Santana is a national public health scholar, having graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill National Public Health Leadership Institute's 2008-2009 class. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Behavior and Communications from New York University. She is fluent in Spanish and French. From 1996 to 2009, Ms. Santana was employed by Pfizer Inc., most recently as Director, External Relations, Public Health within the Chief Medical Officer's External Medical Affairs area, where her focus was to develop partnerships with key opinion leaders in the fields of public health, medicine, government, and non-profit organizations. In addition, she was responsible for program and process management for Pfizer's public health initiatives; created electronic, print, and oral communications tools; and planned and supervised academic and community outreach events. In her External Relations role, Ms. Santana identified, built and maintained direct relationships with regional and national public health and medical thought leaders and their staff, including the U.S. Surgeon General; state health officers; deans of schools of public health; and U.S. public health organizations such as the American Public Health Association (APHA); the Association of Schools of Public Health (ASPH); the Association of State Health Officers; and the Association of National City & County Health Officers among others. She led a cross-divisional group for Pfizer at APHA's annual meeting, and led Pfizer's participation and exhibition at approximately 50 public health conferences and seminars each year. As well, Ms. Santana played a significant role in the development, production and marketing of Pfizer's "library" of public health and medical books.

Michael Dickey - VP

Over the past 16 years, Michael has worked for government, private, and non-profit organizations on national, state and local levels in the area of public health program development and management, training and education, assessment and evaluation. He received his Bachelors of Science from Auburn University and a Masters of Public Health in Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior from the University of South Carolina. Michael is Vice President of Advisors for Public Health. Prior to his work with APH, he served as the Assistant CEO for the Society for Public Health Education, Director of Public Health Services for the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials and as Director of the National Native American Provider Training Initiative.
