Alan Browne

Alan completed a B.Sc in Forestry in May 2021. He has several years' experience in the forestry sector having come from a background of Third Generation Foresters. He has extensive experience in various departments such as Afforestation, Reforestation, Harvesting and License Applications. Alan joined our team in 2023 as a Licensing Forester and will cover all applications for the North West of Ireland.

Brian Fitzgerald

Brian apart time sulker farmer from Kerry joined Euroforest Ireland in 2018 as a Forest Manager, quickly progressing to become our General Manager covering the Southwest, West, Northwest and Northeast of the company. Brian manages a team of harvesting foresters, timber exports and material input to our valuable customers. He also provides a wealth of knowledge and support to the wider team.

Caoimhe Rogers

Caoimhe graduated with a degree in marketing and advertising communications in 2014. She joined Euroforest Ireland in 2020 and became a crucial member on the team working on marketing developments, accounting duties and HO administration.

Ciara Kearney

Ciara joined in 2021, and quickly became general manager. Ciara manages ISO, chain of custody certification, licencing and operations and continues and uphold Euroforest's highest quality standards in operations.

David Whelan

David Whelan commenced employment in October in 2020 and is employed as forest manger for the South West region of Ireland. David manages forest harvesting, timber removal, timber quality and customer communications

Declan Clancy

Declan joined the team of foresters in March 2023. Covering harvesting across the midlands/north east region, Declan provides harvesting advice and operational support to landowners to maximize the return of each plantation.

Donnchadh Buckley Healy

Donnchadh, embarked on his journey with Euroforest Ireland in 2021 following the successful completion of a BSc. (Hons) in Land Management in Forestry from Waterford Institute of Technology. His expertise encompasses a wide range of skills, with a particular focus on navigating grant aid applications, securing tree felling licenses, and utilizing GIS mapping techniques. With a passion for sustainable land management, Donnchadh brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the intersection of forestry and environmental conservation.

Edward Gallagher

Edward joined Euroforest Ireland in October 2018 as a harvesting manager covering the northwest of the country. Edward manages all timber harvesting activities, timber haulage, estate management, marketing and sales of timber and timber exports in the northwest.

Evan Quinn

Evan graduated from UCD with an honours degree in Agricultural Science, majoring in forestry in 2019. During his time in UCD he was educated in every aspect of forestry management and has previously worked as a labourer in the forestry industry. He comes from a farming background and is actively involved in the running of the family farm. Evan is ideally placed to cover forestry operations in the Midlands and the North- East.

Fergal Scully

Fergal completed a B.Sc. in Agri-Environmental Sciences in UCD and an M.Sc. in Biodiversity and Conservation in TCD. He has a keen interest in conservation and the environment, working as the company's ecologist. Fergal has extensive experience in habitat and vegetation community recording and mapping. This work allows him to combine his interests in ecology and forestry.

Gary Lester

Job Titles:
  • Euroforest in 2023 As a General Manager
Gary joined Euroforest in 2023 as a general manager of arboriculture. Gary has over 30 years practical and managerial experience in outdoor work in a forestry, timber and arboricultural environment. Practical experience in the forestry sector includes tree felling, tree climbing, tree planting, woodland management, tractor and forest machine operation and also driving large commercial vehicles

Ivan Fennell

Ivan completed a B.S.C in forestry (level 7) and B.S.C (Hons level 8) In Land Management in Forestry in WIT. He is a member of the Society of Irish Foresters. Ivan is from Laois and comes from a farming background, actively involved in running of the family farm. He mainly covers the midlands and southeast (Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, Offaly and Tipperary). He focuses on establishment in reforestation, afforestation and Ash dieback.

Jim Hurley

Since he completed his forestry education, Jim has been involved in harvesting and marketing timber all his career. He has worked in senior roles in this area for Woodfab Ltd., Eastlog Harvesting and currently with Euroforest Ireland. With Euroforest Ireland he has been centrally involved in setting up of the leading privately owned harvesting and wood marketing in Ireland.

Joe Galligan

Cavan born, Wicklow bred, Joe graduated from UCD with an honors degree in Forestry. He has worked extensively in Scotland and Ireland in various roles involving planting, harvesting, Christmas trees, landscaping and consultancy. Joe is the inventory manager which he combines with quality control in forest maintenance.

John Lawlor

John graduated from Waterford IT with a BSc Forestry in 2021. Since then he has been a vital member of the team within Euroforest Ireland, manging key accounts and delivering unbeatable service and value to landowners in the midlands.

John Overton

John Overton has significant experience of working as a forestry worker all over Ireland. Having joined Forestry Services in 2021, John has worked on establishing and managing commercial and private forestry sites in Clare, Galway, Limerick, Kilkenny, Laois and Waterford. John's role richly serves his passion for the environment and working outdoors.

Jordan Foxton

Jordan completed a BSc in Forestry and graduated from Waterford Institute of Technology in 2011. Starting his Forestry career in Inventory then moving into Forest Management and Timber Harvesting. Jordan is the General Manager for the East and Southeast of Ireland and has vast knowledge in Timber Harvesting, Timber Marketing and Forest Inventory nationwide.

Mark Hogan

Mark joined in January 2017 on the day it was inaugurated. Previously Mark had spent 35 with years with Woodfab Timber Ltd, where he worked in log procurement, identifying suitable stands of timber and managing the harvesting and haulage. Since 2022 Mark has been involved in Forest and estate management, on behalf of corporate clients, Investment and pension funds, . This work is carried on in conjunction with the application/licencing ,the harvesting management and establishment divisions of the company.

Michael Brown

Michael graduated from UCD with an honour's degree in Agricultural Science, majoring in forestry in 2020. During his time in UCD he was educated in every aspect of forestry management and has previously worked as a labourer in the forestry industry. He is from a farming background, growing up on a dairy and beef farm in Co. Kilkenny and is actively involved of managing of the family farm. Michael is based in counties Clare and Galway working on afforestation and forest management.

Nicholas Butler

Hi my name is Nicholas Butler, I'm from Kilkenny. I have been with Euroforest for 2 years, I've been with Euroforest since left Waterford Institute of Technology with a Bsc In Forestry in 2022. I started with Euroforest in the licensing team in 2022, applying for Tree felling licenses and all grant aid schemes. Paddy Bruton

Paddy is the MD of Forestry Services Ltd and Euroforest Ireland. He has more than 25 years' experience in forest establishment and management since graduating with a B.Agr. Sc majoring in forestry from UCD in 1997. Paddy joined the Board of Euroforest Ireland on inception of the Company in 2017. He has served as an industry representative in various forums, including being the forestry representative on the Council of the Agricultural Consultants Association. He is currently PRO of the private sector association SEEFA and is a Technical Member of the Society of Irish Foresters.

Pat Mungovan

Pat has 51 years of experience in forestry, starting the Department of Agriculture and Forestry, after training in Avondale and Kinnity. Pat also has extensive experience in practical work throughout the country after 20 years in Coillte doing private planting and acquisition.

Paul Flanagan

Paul commenced employment with FSL in December 2022. He is a qualified accountant with more than 20 years' experience in delivering monthly management accounts and year end accounts for small businesses in different sectors of the economy as their in-house Company Accountant/Financial Controller.

Philip Keevers

Philip Keevers completed a BSc in Forestry where he graduated from Waterford Institute of Technology in 2018. He started off his career in Timber clearance for the ESB as a tree Climber. In 2023 Philip joined Euroforest Ireland as a harvest manager for the south east covering Kilkenny, Waterford and Wexford where he became an important member of the team.

Robert O Connor

Completed a B.Sc. in Forestry from WIT in 2015 and a B.Sc. in Land Management (Forestry) in 2016 where he was trained in all aspects of forest management. From a small village outside of Enniscorthy in Co. Wexford he worked for 3 years as a manager at a small local tree nursery after graduating. He covers the Southeast area including Co.Dublin and Co.Wicklow.

Robert Rivers Briscoe

Robert Rivers Briscoe completed his bachelor's degree in forestry in 2022 and then his BSc in Land management forestry in 2023. Both were completed while he was studying in SETU. He has been working in Euroforest Ireland since his third year of college and has two years' experience working on the applications team, where he covers the Southeast region of the country.

Sandra Garzon

Sandra comes to Forestry Services Ltd with international experience, she has an MBA from Corvinus University in Hungary and a degree in Industrial Engineering from Los Andes University in Colombia. She works as Senior Office & Data Administrator and serves as IT support coordinator at Forestry Services Ltd.

Shane Maguire

Shane graduated from Ballyhaise Agricultural College with a lv. 6 degree, specializing in Forestry. He had worked in the arboricultural business for many years. Shane has been involved in forestry from a young age and has gained valuable knowledge in this time. Monaghan born and bred, he covers Monaghan, Leitrim, Donegal, Sligo, Louth, and Meath.
