Joshua L. Benson

Joshua Benson is a trial lawyer at Benson Allred, specializing in automobile accident, product liability, premise liability, medical malpractice, and wrongful death cases. He has extensive experience with back and spinal cord injuries. Josh prioritizes his relationship with his clients, getting to know them on a personal level and ensuring good communication throughout the course of their case and beyond. Prior to forming Benson Allred Injury Law, Josh was a partner at a large Las Vegas law firm and a litigation attorney at a large Las Vegas personal injury firm. During his career, Josh has developed a strong background in personal injury and commercial litigation, which includes serving as lead counsel on personal injury trials, complex business litigation trials, and binding arbitrations. Josh has argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and handled appeals to the Nevada Supreme Court, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Prior to entering civil practice, Josh clerked for the Honorable Robert C. Jones, United States District Court, District of Nevada. He graduated magna cum laude from the William S. Boyd School of Law. While in law school, he served as Nevada Law Editor for the Nevada Law Journal. He traveled to San Francisco to participate in the ABA National Moot Court Competition as a member of the Society of Advocates, receiving an award for third best brief among the nearly one hundred competitors.

Porter C. Allred

Porter Allred has spent his entire legal career representing injured people against insurance companies. He is sympathetic to the struggles and difficulties his clients endure as a result of someone's carelessness. He knows how frustrating this process can be for his clients, and he strives to alleviate their worries. Porter prides himself on listening to his clients and knowing the facts. He works tirelessly to ensure that his clients get the personal attention they deserve and receive fair compensation for their injuries. Prior to forming Benson Allred Injury Law, Porter spent twelve years working for two of the largest Personal Injury law firms in Nevada. From the first day he was licensed, Porter has actively been fighting for his clients in and out of courtroom. Porter has successfully resolved thousands of cases, and recovered millions of dollars for his clients. Raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Porter moved across the country to attend Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Government and Russian in 2002. Porter attended Syracuse University College of Law in Syracuse, New York. After receiving his Juris Doctorate degree in 2007, he moved to Las Vegas to begin his career. Porter is a member of the State Bar of Nevada and is licensed to practice before all state and federal courts in Nevada. He is also licensed in Utah and Oregon.
