Dance for Parkinson's South Africa is a non-profit organisation offering specialised dance classes to the Parkinson's community... Based on the original New York-based dance classes, our local programme was founded in 2016 by Julie Symmonds who travelled to NYC to receive the Dance for PD® qualifications. We have since grown throughout South Africa with the aim to provide a life-enhancing movement programme that returns a sense of validation and purpose to the lives of those living with the Parkinson's disease, as well as to assist their families and carers... A non-profit organisation based in South Africa that offers specialised dance and movement classes to Parkinson's patients and their carers and loved ones.
