Ann Preston

Job Titles:

Ann worked as a Counter Assistant in a pharmacy for 18 years. She joined Murray Flynn in August 2018 as a Receptionist. Ann continues to enjoy the face to face interaction with our clients and members of the public. Ann's passion is her family. She enjoys reading to relax and unwind and loves to travel.

Betty O'Brien

Job Titles:
  • Legal Secretary
Betty joined the firm in June 2004. Since then she has been assisting Sighle Duffy regarding Conveyancing, Wills, Probate, Powers of Attorney and Wardship Matters. Betty assists our clients at Reception as well. Betty enjoys outdoors and walking

Catherine Warren

Job Titles:
  • Legal Secretary
Catherine studied at Marino College of Further Education and gained a diploma in Legal Secretarial Studies and Advanced Administration. She joined the firm in 2018 and works in the Litigation Department. Catherine assists clients predominantly in respect of Personal Injury Litigation*. When not at work Catherine enjoys catching up with friends and walking.

Conor Murray

Job Titles:
  • Legal Assistant
Conor has worked in various industries including Hospitality, Sales and Construction. He joined the firm in 2019 as an Office Clerk to further his legal education. Conor has been mostly dealing with files relating to Personal Injury Litigation*. When not working, Conor enjoys being active including playing football, golf and mountain biking.

Frank Murray

Job Titles:
  • Partner
Frank obtained his Law Degree in UCD in 1980 and became a Solicitor in 1983. Since then he has practised as a Solicitor in Commercial Property, Commercial Litigation and Civil Litigation generally (representing both corporate clients and individuals with great success). He has been a Partner of the Firm since 1996 and now specialises in Personal Injury Litigation* and Commercial Litigation and continues to represent clients with distinction. Frank is also a sporting enthusiast (particularly rugby, soccer, cricket and golf) and believes passionately in the importance of sport to the health and wellbeing of our society.

Gemma Preston

Job Titles:
  • Legal Executive
From 2002 to 2006 Gemma worked in Murray Flynn's Pembroke Road Office. She started as receptionist and then worked as Frank's secretary. She completed a Legal Studies course and moved to the Debt Collection Department as a Legal Executive. After living for some time in the USA, Gemma returned to Dublin and worked in the area of Commercial Property for 3 years. Gemma rejoined the firm in the Fairview Office in December 2010 and immediately began working in the Litigation Department. She has continued to work in the Litigation Department since then assisting the Partners with personal injury cases in the High Court, Circuit Court and District Court. She has dealt with a number of complex cases and enjoys the variety of cases we deal with on a daily basis. Gemma loves Music, Pilates and reading.

Ilona Biernat

Ilona graduated from University College Dublin with an Honours BCL (Law) degree in 2017. She also holds a Master's Degree in Law (LLM) from the University of Poznan, Poland. Prior to joining the firm Ilona spent a considerable amount of time working predominantly in Litigation and Conveyancing. Ilona joined Murray Flynn in January 2020. She specialises in Personal Injury Litigation*. Outside the office, Ilona enjoys rock climbing and hiking.

John Flynn

Job Titles:

After obtaining a BCL Degree in University College Dublin, John qualified as a Solicitor in 1984. For many years he developed and ran a successful business as a sole practitioner before teaming up with Frank Murray in 1996 and becoming a founding member of Murray Flynn. John practices in the area of Litigation having developed and honed his experience for over 35 years. John has a particular interest and extensive experience in Personal Injury Litigation* and Garda Compensation claims*. John has worked for many Insurance Companies over the years but prefers dealing with individual people and assisting them with their legal difficulties. Outside of work John enjoys most sports, cycling and golf.

Jolanta Lenkiewicz

Job Titles:
  • Translator and Interpreter, Polish Litigation Team
Having completed studies at university in Kraków (Poland), Jolanta is the proud owner of a Master's Degree in Polish language. She has also completed the CELTA course, a highly regarded TEFL course certificated by the University of Cambridge. Jolanta is an experienced Translator and Interpreter, having considerable experience in both medical and legal translation, verbal as well as written. Jolanta also has an extensive background in the teaching sector, both in Polish and English. She is the translator of Amy McCreedy's book ("The Me, Me, Me Epidemic"), from English to Polish. Jolanta joined the Firm in February 2018 as a Polish Litigation Team member and Translator and Interpreter. She assists clients in Personal Injury Litigation*. Jolanta's biggest passion is literature, however she also enjoys outdoor activities such as cycling and hiking; she is also an active member in Scouting Ireland.

Keely O'Toole

Job Titles:

After completing a course in Ballsbridge College of Business Studies, Keely commenced working in the legal profession dealing with the registration aspect of conveyancing matters. Following a merger with Gerard Maguire & Company in 2004, Keely commenced working for Murray Flynn and since 2014 she has been dealing with litigation files in particular in regards to road traffic accidents*, accidents at work*, accidents in public places*. Keely enjoys Gaelic football and has been a Dublin season ticket holder for many years. She assists with the running of the merchandise shop at her local GAA club and also helps to promote the Irish language within the club.

Lucian Tatulescu

  • Romanian Litigation Team
Lucian came to Ireland in 2000 and worked in the hospitality sector for almost 20 years. In 2019, he joined our Romanian Litigation Team at Murray Flynn Solicitors. Lucian works with our Romanian clients assisting them in regard to their personal injury compensation claims*. He enjoys his work and enjoys assisting our clients with their legal queries. In his spare time, he loves photography and walking.

Magdalena Iatan

Magda joined Murray Flynn in 2020, having previously worked as a Legal Executive in a few general law practices in Dublin City Centre. She obtained a Diploma in Legal Studies from the Law Society of Ireland in 2008. She has great experience in Plaintiff and Defence Litigation and also Employment Law, Family Law, Probate and Immigration. Outside work Magda enjoys dancing and walking.

Margaret McLoughlin

Job Titles:
  • Office Manager
After completing a secretarial course Margaret commenced working in the legal sector. Margaret started off her career in Conveyancing before moving into the area of Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation which she really enjoys. Margaret worked with John Flynn when John teamed up with Frank Murray in l996. She now manages the day to day running of the office and dealing with litigation files. Margaret enjoys sports and played camogie until progressing to golf and represented her Golf Club as Lady Captain.

Mari Preda

Job Titles:
  • Head of Romanian Litigation Team, Translator and Interpreter, Commissioner for Oaths
Mari was born in Brasov, Romania. She has been working as a freelance translator for the last 22 years. She moved to Ireland in August 2000 and has been engaged on a volunteer basis, with the Romanian Community in Ireland for the last 6 years, to help promote Romanian traditions and culture. She joined the team at Murray Flynn Solicitors in 2016 and has been assisting Romanian clients in the area of Personal Injury Litigation*. When not working, she enjoys painting, movies and walking.

Monika Baranowska Forrest

Job Titles:
  • Head of Polish Litigation Team, Legal Executive, Marketing Specialist
Monika obtained a Master's in Law Degree (LLM) in 2005. She has worked in a number of legal and paralegal roles in Poland (Solicitor`s Office, County Council), USA (General Consulate) and Ireland (Solicitors Offices). Monika has also significant experience in marketing. Monika joined our Firm as a Legal Executive in 2016 and since then she has been working diligently to assist a number of clients in resolving their legal issues. Monika has considerable knowledge and experience in Personal Injury Litigation*. She is a qualified and experienced Translator and Interpreter with a particular interest in legal and medical translation and interpreting. She is responsible for marketing and promotion and holds a master's degree in Management- Digital Marketing (MSc) awarded by Dublin City University. Monika loves reading and outdoors. In her free time, she creates paintings with bee wax, natural pigments, and fire.

Rastislav Blazek

Rastislav (also known as Rasty) started working for our Firm as an Independent Consultant in 2008 and joined our Firm in 2010. Rasty is a qualified Legal Executive and since 2015 he is a member of the Irish Institute of Legal Executives. He is also a founder and manager of Legal Support Department of Slovak Centre - Ireland. He is experienced in Employment Law, but he specialises mainly in Personal Injury Litigation*. In his free time Rasty likes playing pool, fishing and he is also involved in voluntary work for Slovak Centre Ireland and Fingal Ethnic Network.

Shane O'Brien

Shane studied in University College Dublin and was admitted as a Solicitor in 2007. He has extensive experience in Personal Injury Litigation*, and general and Commercial Litigation. He has a background of also working in Employment Law, Property and Probate before deciding to focus on the area of Litigation. He joined the firm in 2019 and looks to advance the cases of individuals and assist them when faced with a legal difficulty. When not working, Shane enjoys hill walking and golf.

Sighle Duffy

Sighle qualified in 1994 and joined the firm in 1997. Sighle is a very experienced Solicitor, practising in the areas of Property Law, Residential Conveyancing, first time buyers, buy to lets, Wills, estate planning, Probate, Powers of Attorney and other private client work. Sighle is known for the practical advice and support she provides to her clients, her attention to detail, and for completing work in a highly efficient and timely manner. Sighle also has a particular interest in delivering specialist legal advice to older and vulnerable persons. Outside of the office Sighle enjoys hill walking, keeping up to date with current affairs and reading for pleasure.

Sona Blazekova

Sona joined our team in 2013.She has achieved NFQ Level 6 in Employment Law and has been working in Murray Flynn Solicitors as a Legal Assistant. She deals with Civil Litigation, particularly Personal Injury Litigation* and has a considerable experience in assisting clients during the compensation* process. Sona likes spending her free time by knitting, gardening and community activities. Sona is also involved in voluntary work for Slovak Centre Ireland.
