Peter Wagner, a prominent Church Growth leader, says that this book describing Fletcher's theory is better than any of his because it is newer and relevant for the 21 st century church (Fletcher, 2006). In this qualitative study the researcher explores the experiences of several people in the church where Michael Fletcher has been the pastor and formed this theory of Church Growth since 1985. In this study will be explored the "lived" experiences of several people in the church who were part of this growing church from 2003 to 2009. Manna Church has grown from 1,500 members to over 5,500 members in this time period. In this study the researcher will explore the impact of different aspects of church life that developed church growth at Manna Church as perceived by the participants from different levels of involvement in the process.

Steven Crowther

Steven Crowther is President of Manna University in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and directs leadership training centers in Venezuela and Colombia. Crowther holds a master's degree in Theological Studies from Asbury Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership with a major in Global Leadership from Regent University's School of Global Leadership & Entrepreneurship. In addition, he has been involved in pastoral ministry for over twenty years in various capacities, including associate and senior pastor roles. He has been a business owner and consultant as well as an author published in journal articles and author of the book - Peter on Leadership, A Contemporary Exegetical Analysis and of the recently released book - Biblical Servant Leadership; An Exploration of Leadership for the Contemporary Context.
