Andrea Galádová

Andrea Galádová is a researcher and Head of the International measurements at NUCEM. She successfully manages and directs all international measurements at Slovak schools. She and her team are responsible for administration of databases for the selection of the sample of participating schools, commenting on measuring tools, the translation of measuring tools into the Slovak language, addressing schools to participate in pilot testing, ensuring the development of the final version of the tests, questionnaires for pupils and questionnaires for teachers, the implementation of testing in schools, the cooperation in statistical processing of the resulting data, etc.

Ewa Chmielecka

Job Titles:

Ewa Chmielecka is a Professor at Warsaw School of Economics and former expert at the Educational Research Institute (IBE). She has extensive national and international research experience in the public policy of educational systems, particularly concerning lifelong learning, qualifications frameworks and quality assurance. Her international research experiences are illustrated by the list of some 100 publications in these fields, as well as her leadership or membership in numerous international research projects and expert groups. She represents Poland in the European Commission's EQF Advisory Group (since 2008). She is a leader of the AG working team on levelled qualifications (including VET) horizontal comparison. She was a co-author of the level descriptors of the Polish Qualifications Framework. She also has been serving on the Croatian, Hungarian and Slovakian Referencing Teams, Twinning project for Macedonia, NQF-IN Erasmus+ project and the others. She was a member and the chair of the Polish Bologna Experts Team (2006 - 2013) as well as a member of the Polish Universities Accreditation Commission (2012 - 2015). She was awarded the title "Authority of the Year" by the Students' Parliament of the Republic of Poland in 2009 and the Medal of KEN in 2016.

Françoise Kogut

Since 2016 Françoise Kogut is a head of mission for national partnership. She has a strong experience in carrying out studies on competences and professions analysis, evolution of vocational education degrees, training assessment in VET environment, training and certification offer in different professional fields.

Horacy Dębowski

Job Titles:

Horacy Dębowski is a Vice-director of the Central Examination Board in Poland and a member of the European Qualifications Framework Advisory Group (EQF AG). He is a research assistant and Ph.D candidate at Warsaw School of Economics. For many years he was a senior expert at the Educational Research Institute in Poland. Horacy specialises in VET curricula development, implementation of national qualifications framework and lifelong learning policies. He is an author of policy papers and documents prepared for the Polish national and regional authorities, and the European Commission (Polish Referencing Report, Cedefop/Refernet Reports). Member of the expert working group at Centre for Education Development (ORE) responsible for development of the methodology of modernization of Polish VET core curricula. Member of the research team conducting international study "Szkoła dla innowatora" focusing on developing innovative skills within primary and secondary education for the Polish Ministry of Economy. Member of National Team of ECVET Experts in Poland (nomination of the Ministry of Education). Member of the European Commission Refernet research team for Poland. Member of the Ministry of Higher Education expert working group on developing work based learning policies in HE. Advisor to the government of the Republic of Macedonia in modernisation of the post-secondary vocational education curricula. He manages team of experts in the EwasteR project (Erasmus+ KA2, Sector Skills Alliances). He is also a manager of the NQF-IN project (KA2 VET) and Component 3 Leader within the NQF Twinning Project for the Republic of Macedonia (grant financed by the European Commission).

Inta Baranovska

She is experienced as a project developer and manager of more than 20 EU Lifelong Learning, Erasmus+, INTERREG projects.

Jacek Lewicki

Jacek Lewicki is an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Development of Economic Education (ORSE) of the Warsaw School of Economics. PhD in social sciences (Jagiellonian University in Krakow, 2013), Expert of the Polish Accreditation Committee (PKA) for evaluation proceeding. He was an analyst at the Institute of Educational Research (IBE) in Warsaw (2013-2015) in the National Qualification Frameworks project. He was a vice-president of the Foundation of Young Science (2013-2017); an expert in a project: "Education for doctoral studies: development of doctoral programs with different profiles" (for the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in Poland); a member of the Young Scientists Council (RMN), the advisory body to the Minister of Science and Higher Education (2012-2015); Bologna Expert (2011-2013); vice-president of the National Representation of PhD Candidates in Poland (KRD) (2009-2011). He cooperated with the PKA as an expert for doctoral candidates' affairs. Scientific interest in a public policy in the area of higher education and science, doctoral education, a non-formal education and lifelong learning.

Kaja Reegård

Kaja Reegård received her doctoral degree from the Department of Sociology at the University of Bergen, Norway. The thesis addressed the weakly established vocational training for the retail sector and office and administrative jobs in Norway, and the apprentices' experiences of undertaking these educations. Kaja Reegård is currently a senior researcher at Fafo, and has researched widely in the areas of vocational education, work-based and non-formal learning. She is the project manager for a national network on drop out from upper secondary education, and has recently co-edited a book on the very same topic.

Petra Fridrichova is currently a researcher of the Educational Research Center, Faculty of Education UMB. She was general director of National Institute of Education. She is expert for theoretical and practical questions of ethical education in national context; experienced teacher of initial teacher education and lifelong education; in her object of interest is also curricular reform and questions concerning the transversal competences. She is involved in network for EQF in Slovakia. Her most important projects are: Innovation of educational practice in ethical education, Implementation of new curricular reform at elementary school in Slovak republic, and Development of the professional competences of teachers of pre-primary, elementary and secondary education in the context of increasing success of elementary education system reforms. She is author or co-author: papers indexed and registered in WoS, 7 monographs and 10 papers published in Slovakia and abroad.

Romana Kanovská

Romana Kanovská is a director of NUCEM since 2008, except for the period from March 2015 to March 2016, when she was appointed the State Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic. As a member of the Management Committee OCED PISA (PISA Governing Board - PGB) since 2008, she is involved in deciding about the content and cognitive frameworks of PISA testing tools, as well as the methodological tools of the final assessment of PISA tests. Romana is also engaged in the process of deciding about the so-called innovative domains of the international research of PISA, e.g. the evaluation of Creative Problem Solving, Collaborative Problem Solving, Global Competencies. These competences are closely linked to transversal skills. Such measurements have either been successfully implemented at Slovak schools, or are being prepared to be launched. She manages the research activities of NUCEM concernig evaluation of the so-called soft skills as well as transversal skills of learners.

He specialises in VET qualifications standards, credit accumulation and transfer, curriculum design, levelling qualifications, vocational education reforms in Poland. He is a co-author of publications on VET, including a reports and articles on education and qualifications system, as well as guidebooks regarding writing learning outcomes and designing qualifications. He is a member of Cedefop/Refernet team Poland.Coordinates IBE team within ConstructyVET (Erasmus+ KA 2, VET) and takes part in intergovernmental Twinning project in Macedonia.
