Brian almost pursued a career in music before a lab accident involving long-day vs. short-day plants set him on a math and science bender. Surfacing with an MA in Pure Mathematics from UCLA as well as an MS in Bio-Mathematics from the David Geffen School of Medicine, Brian prepared a deep dive into academia to prove that a man can indeed serve two Masters'. Around this time, he got himself in a family way, necessitating a transition to industry. Climbing from Director of Research Analytics at FOX/MySpace to Chief Scientist at Greenplum, and thence to enterprise analytics consulting for such clients as EMC, T-Mobile, the U.S. Intelligence Community, and Research In Motion, Brian went on to succeed as a serial entrepreneur. Among other companies, he co-founded Qurius, Deep 6 and Discovix, before solidifying the "AI Technical Cofounder" model of Verdant AI. When not contemplating graph entropy or the spectral theorem, Brian enjoys family time most of all, followed by beer-league hockey, ocean diving, and playing the Irish tenor banjo.

Malcolm Gill is an accomplished sales director, digital transformation strategist and change agent building critical relationships and overseeing the adoption of emerging technologies and best practices. With a focus on understanding and leveraging the latest trends in technology to drive the delivery of large transformation programs that improve resiliency, increase efficiencies, reduce risk and have delivered value and savings, Malcolm has spent 20+ years in Information Technology focusing on delivering tangible business outcomes, aligning capabilities that accelerate time to value and providing digital solutions at scale for clients. Prior to joining Verdant AI, Malcolm worked in Regional Director roles at Hitachi Consulting, Microsoft, Oracle and Gartner. He studied International Business at California Polytechnic University @ Pomona. He is happiest being the chauffeur for his two children Maya and Mason in San Pedro, California.
Mitch Lewis has been a comic/film concept artist, street musician, fireworks set builder, and data center hardware guy, and that's just some of his hats. He was called a "magic genie" by Wells Fargo and was described by IBM as a "draft pick" (round not specified). A restaurant chose his 3-star review (out of 5) as their favorite, offering him a free meal he has yet to redeem. He likes to hike and bicycle and enjoys sitting in Irish pubs playing in traditional music sessions. His favorite graph is the cortical homunculus.
Tuesday West started at Verdant as an intern before she was hired as Business Analyst. Tuesday received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Pepperdine University. Although she was born on a Tuesday, her favorite day of the week is actually Friday. Some of Tuesday's favorite hobbies are running, going line dancing, and eating ice cream and cookies.
