Alan Melcher

Professor Alan Melcher moved to The Institute of Cancer Research, London, as Professor of Translational Immunology and Honorary Consultant Oncologist at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. He combines a clinical practice in head and neck cancer and melanoma research focused on oncolytic viruses and immunotherapy for the treatment of cancer. He Holds a PhD at the Imperial Cancer Research Fund (now Cancer Research UK) and prior he was a post-doctoral research fellow at the Mayo Clinic, Minnesota. He became Professor of Clinical Oncology and Biotherapy in Leeds in 2007. Professor Alan Melcher graduated in medicine from the University of Oxford in 1989, and trained in Clinical Oncology (Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy) in Cardiff, London and Leeds.

Dr Daniel Oberg

Dr. Daniel Öberg has a PhD in medical virology with a specialisation in anticancer gene therapy. He completed five years of postdoctoral oncolytic research at the Institute of Cancer, London. He has since been working for four years as an assistant professor at Uppsala University. Daniel has developed and experimented with the vector Ixovex. He has lectured at M.Sc. level ion various topics including general and specific virology, gene therapy, "virus and cancer" and "virus and immune defence".

Dr Martin Forster

Martin completed his specialist training in Medical Oncology in 2008 and was appointed as a UCL Clinical Senior Lecturer and UCH Consultant in Medical Oncology in 2009. He has been running a research-based practice and has been principal / chief investigator for more than 20 early and late phase clinical trials while working in cancer care and training in Medical Oncology at the Oxford Radcliffe and Royal Marsden NHS Trusts. Martin is involved in the management of patients with both lung and head and neck cancers and has a particular interest in the cancer biology that leads to the development of both lung and head and neck cancers. Martin graduated from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and gained general medical experience in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom, becoming a member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 2000. He holds a PhD at the Institute for Cancer Research, London and was awarded the EORTC-PAMM Young Investigator Award in 2004.

Imad Mardini - COO

Imad joined PsiVac Ltd. in 2018 and is responsible for overseeing the business operations of the company. Imad has worked as a senior consultant for MEFIC Capital overseeing a development project in Porto, Portugal. Imad previously was a Managing Director of Middle East at FREO Group and responsible for investment and investor relations. Prior to joining FREO, Imad was an Executive Director at Arqaam Capital. He also gained experience at Babcock & Brown working on numerous Mergers and Acquisitions, debt and equity raising transactions. Imad obtained a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and a Masters degree in Structural Engineering from Imperial College London. He also obtained a Masters Degree in Investment Management from City Business School.

Kevin Harrington

Professor Kevin Harrington is Joint Head of the Division of Radiotherapy and Imaging at the Institute of Cancer Research. He is a specialist in Head and Neck cancer and in melanoma. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of Radiologists. Prof Harrington has translated numerous therapies into clinical trial, particularly in the field of head-and-neck cancer providing Ixogen with invaluable experience.

Upen Shah - CFO

Upen joined PsiVac Ltd. in 2018 and is focusing on financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping, and financial reporting. Upen is a fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. He is a partner at Arithma LLP, a firm of Chartered Certified Accountants in the West End of London. He has extensive experience in advising clients on accounting, auditing and business advisory issues, including acquisitions and disposals, structuring and fund raising. Upen graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science at University College London.
