Andreas Beerbaum

Andreas Beerbaum has been a key figure of the European physical security industry for 20 years. He has proven leadership experience and a strong track record in creating and executing sales and business strategies as well as in setting up and developing international organisations and teams. During his career Andreas held leading sales and management positions at major international security companies such as Tyco, Siemens or Funkwerk. Before the acquisition of OnSSI Group by Qognify he worked for SeeTec as a managing director. He holds a Diploma in industrial engineering and management.

Andreas Conrad - CMO

Andreas Conrad has been a passionate marketing professional for nearly 20 years. In addition to his proven skills to build and develop technology brands, he has a deep understanding of the security industry. He started his career in traditional and digital marketing agencies before moving to the industry side, where he held several leading marketing positions. In 2008 he joined SeeTec as Head of Marketing. He holds a Diploma in Business Administration including marketing and information management from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany.

Chen Porat

Job Titles:
  • General Manager, EIM
Chen joined Qognify in 2018. Prior to his current role as General Manager, EIM he worked at Nokia where he was a Program Head of Network Analytics and 3D Geo-Location. The 3D Geo-Location product was developed by NICE Optimize, a unit that Chen had formed, led and successfully sold to Nokia. Chen's experience includes a wide range of executive management positions in large and medium size companies, including Nasdaq-listed Comverse and Nova Measuring Instruments. Chen holds a B.Sc from The Technion Israeli Institute of Technology and an MBA from Tel-Aviv University.

Gal Golod - Chief Legal Officer

Joining Qognify in 2016, Gal Golod oversees the company's global legal affairs. Prior to joining Qognify, Gal was a senior associate at the New York office of Sullivan & Worcester LLP where he represented technology clients in a wide range of corporate, licensing and transactional matters. Prior to that, Gal spent 10 years as the General Counsel of a high-growth technology company in Israel and the U.S. Gal is a graduate of Northwestern University School of Law and holds a doctorate (S.J.D.) from Fordham University School of Law. He is a member of the New York Bar and the Israel Bar Association.

Jeremy Howard

Jeremy Howard is Qognify's VP of Physical Security Sales for the Americas. Jeremy brings over 20 years of experience in IT and Physical Security to this role. He is responsible for growing both partner and key account channels and leading go-to-market strategies for all VMS brands within the Qognify portfolio. Jeremy previously held leadership positions, driving metrically driven sales organizations, at Honeywell, Verint, Avigilon and Hikvision. He is based in Dallas, Texas.

Miki Katz - CFO

Miki Katz joined Qognify in 2016. He has over 20 years of experience in Finance and business operations across global, public and private companies. Prior to joining Qognify, Miki was the VP finance and Business Operations for Radware Inc., CFO and COO for Ness Technologies North America and VP Finance for Verint Systems Inc. Miki holds an MBA and BA in economics and business administration from Bar Ilan University.

Minnie Punj-Introne

Minnie Punj-Introne joined Qognify in 2019, to lead worldwide services and support groups and help integrate our recent acquisitions. Minnie has more than 15 years of experience helping global customers realize value from their software investments. Prior to joining Qognify, Minnie held senior positions at Opera Solutions and Knoa Software, leading cross-functional teams and using data to drive strategic decision making. Minnie earned a Masters degree in Economics from Panjab University and a Diploma in Computer Science from IBM India.

Steve Shine - CEO, President

Steve is CEO and President of Qognify which he joined in 2018. Prior to Qognify, Steve was CEO at Actian Corporation from 2011-2016 where he led a program of sustained organic and acquisition growth to position the company as a leading innovator in big data management and analytics and cloud integration. Prior to Actian, Steve was with Sybase as senior vice president and general manager for EMEA, overseeing all operational, sales, financial and human resources in the region. Prior to Sybase, Steve was at Canadian-based Geac Computer Corporation for ten years, helping to successfully turn around two major global divisions for the ERP firm. Steve holds a B.Sc. in Physics from Manchester University and lives in London with his partner and two children.

Yaniv Toplian

In his role as Vice President of Research & Development, Yaniv is responsible for the product management, development and quality assurance of Qognify software products. Yaniv has 20 years of R&D experience and a proven track record of delivering enterprise software. He began his career as a software engineer in the telecom and IT software industry and has held leading engineering positions in companies such as Comverse, Hewlett Packard and NICE. Yaniv holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Ben-Gurion University (IL) and a Master in Business Administration.
