Alycia Lee

Alycia graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2021 with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree. Prior to the completion of her DPM degree, Alycia also completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences degree, majoring in Medical Sciences. Before graduating as a podiatrist, she had the opportunity to work as a podiatry assistant for 5 weeks and spend 10 weeks as a student training in the Great Southern region, especially in Albany. During her time there, she was able to gain exposure to various aspects of podiatry, which included biomechanics, trauma, musculoskeletal injuries, pediatrics, nail surgeries, diabetic and general foot care. She is passionate about all aspects of podiatry, but has particular interests in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries, orthotic therapy, biomechanics and pediatrics. She is immensely grateful for the opportunity to be a part of a profession that can be challenging, but also incredibly rewarding. During her time off, she enjoys reading, completing 1000-piece puzzles and exploring new places to have brunch.

Andrea Eade

Andrea Eade graduated from Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia in 1999 with a bachelor of Science in Podiatry, and has worked in the industry for the last 18 years. Andrea has worked in hospital, community based podiatry and private practice. For the past three and a half years Andrea has been living and working in Melbourne. Andrea's position was Business Manager and senior podiatrist at a busy multidisciplinary podiatry practice with a large focus on orthotic therapy. Andrea has a wealth of knowledge and clinical skills and is competent in all areas of podiatry including general nail care, diabetic high risk foot, nail surgery, biomechanical assessments and orthotic therapy. Andrea is passionate about all aspects of Podiatry and has a particular interest in the paediatric foot and the management of chronic diseases and their effect on the foot. Andrea has a natural empathy for people and prides herself on excellent rapport with her patients. Andrea has recently returned home to Perth due to her husbands work and is thrilled to be back and resuming her position at Achiles Heal Podiatry, Physiotherapy and Massage. She has a keen interest in travelling and has travelled extensively. She also enjoys spending quality time with husband and young daughter.

Angela De Felice

Angela is Achilles Heal's principal podiatrist and founded the practice in 2004. Angela completed her studies in 2004 at Curtin University of Technology and is a member of the West Australian Podiatry Association. Her work history is rather extensive and has ranged from private practices to public hospitals where she worked alongside surgical mentors. Having young children of her own has reinforced for her that foot care and education starts at a tender, young age. Angela also has previous experience in state level tennis, which offered her an insight into ‘the athlete' and desire to prevent and treat various sporting injuries.

Kinga Hague

After completing her Bachelor of Science (Podiatry) in 1999, Kinga spent three years working in the public health system working in an out-patient high risk foot clinic. She has 13 years' experience working in private practice with services focused on diabetic foot protection and musculoskeletal injuries. Sports podiatry is a particular interest and running shoes are her passion! Outside of podiatry, Kinga is a competitor in WA's triathlon series, training with the Fremantle triathlon club and is a running coach for North Freo kids run club.

Nadia Trutwien

Nadia Trutwien is our newest addition to the team. She has a busy life with her two daughters and when not at Achilles Heal, she enjoys working as a hairdresser.

Nina Epis

Nina Epis joined the team in 2013 and speaks both English and Italian. She enjoys being able to interact daily with patients from all walks of life and on weekends she enjoys walking with friends and family.

Robyn Bailey

Robyn is a Senior Physiotherapist, having worked in hospital and private practice areas of Physiotherapy, particularly musculoskeletal and sports injury management and rehabilitation. During Robyn's career, she has worked in rural and city areas of private practice, been active in community service and managed numerous teams of Physiotherapy staff. Robyn has tutored undergraduate Physiotherapy students at Curtin University, mentored international students and assisted with professional development. Robyn has vast experience with pre- and post-operative rehabilitation and post trauma rehabilitation. Men's and women's health are also keen areas of interest. Robyn has worked with WAFL, PSA and Country Football (AFL Code), netball, swimming and has a keen interest in dance injuries. As a volunteer Physiotherapist, Robyn worked at the Sydney Olympics, Melbourne Commonwealth Games, and ISAF World Sailing and also worked at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. As a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, Robyn continues to keep up to date with the latest evidence based practice in Physiotherapy. Robyn swims, walks the family dog and enjoys time with her family and hopes to travel in the future. Robyn is excited to be part of the team at Achilles Heal.

Rye Coleman

Rye completed his studies (Bachelor of Health Science, Podiatry) in 2009 at Charles Stuart University. He worked 11 years in community health across multiple locations in northeast Victoria before moving to Western Australia. His work in northeast Victoria allowed Rye to develop his experience with clients of all ages and with numerous chronic health complications. Rye enjoys improving each client's quality of life by looking holistically at each client and assisting them to meet their goals. Rye often sees clients with feet and leg pain, diabetes, toenail problems, children and those clients who have trouble with their walking. He uses an array of treatment resources such as padding, strapping, dry needling, orthotics and stretching to achieve desired results. In his spare time Rye enjoys volunteering within the community, keeping physically active and enjoys time with family and friends.
