AXIS - Key Persons
Mr. Massimo is part of the Axis Operations team, in the capacity of Project Management. Tony's construction experience spans 40-years and the great majority of that time has been dedicated to commercial construction. Like his peers Tony offers out-of-ground experience, from pre-construction through to punch-out and turn over. Tony is currently working on a full-service veterinary practice, a renovation/expansion project at Saint Joes University, and two other medical projects in Philadelphia County.
Bruce began his career in construction in 1991. He joined Axis Construction in 2004 as a Project Manager. Bruce attended Linn-Benton Community College and has had various continuing Construction education as well as being LEED, AP Accredited. His experience includes scheduling, design phase coordination, cost engineering and overall field supervision. Bruce has held various responsibilities in construction industry from his own custom cabinet shop & mill- work company, General Superintendent, to Project Manager. Bruce is currently overseeing a $6.75M renovation of the Cancer Center at Chester County Hospital in West Chester, PA.
Mr. Cohen has his grounding as a rough framing and finish carpenter in both the residential and commercial marketplaces. Chris has 30 years of daily construction experience as part of his pedigree. In 2006, Chris was employed with Axis in the role as Superintendent. Like Mr. Crawley, Chris is highly skilled across the board in various construction categories, including carpentry, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, etc. He is well versed working within sensitive and compromised health environments. Chris is currently running a Pennsylvania Hospital OR and PACU project.
Mr. Biggs, is a member of our senior project management team. His pedigree spans 22 years in construction. Much of this time has been knowledge gained in commercial and high-end residential applications. Cory, severed as Project Manager on the Wyndcroft School in Pottstown, a $4M project, consisting of a renovation and a new out-of-ground building in 2014.

As Director of Client Services, Garret has led Axis's growth in the Medical, Mixed-use, Educational, Adaptive Reuse, Multi-Family, and Commercial sectors. Prior to joining Axis Construction in October of 2017, Garret worked in business development for an elevator company and a commercial plumbing company. Garret was raised in Glen Mills, PA and attended Unionville High School. After high school Garret attended Kutztown University where he majored in communications and played football for the University as well. Customer relationships and project dedication help Garret succeed in a Client Services role. Also being a Philadelphia local, Garret is determined to contribute to the structural growth of the area.
As Vice President and Principal for Axis, as well as a former VP of a large financial services firm, Gary brings more than 35 years of construction, design and management experience to the company. Gary provides visionary insight and expertise in relationships with clients, architects and consultants, ensuring that all contractual obligations are satisfied. Gary is an award-winning member of the Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Gary is a member of the Advisory Board for The Pathway School and is the Chairman of the Board for The Legacy Youth Tennis and Education Foundation. He holds a B.S. degree in Business Management and Construction Technologies.

Mr. Solimeo is a member of our senior operations staff. Joe's resume offers 38 years of practical boots on the ground construction experience. Joe has extensive out-of-ground experience in single and multi-story configurations. Presently, he is working on projects that range from medical, retail, and an out-of-ground two story office building.
Lisa is in charge of our estimating department and is the direct contact for our sub-contractor base. Lisa has a keen understanding of the ever changing sub-contractor market and works with the estimating department to ensure the right project team is put together.
Mike McEachern has a total of 8 years experience overall in the construction industry. Mike started his career in the field as a commercial HVAC technician working primarily on medical buildings, office fit-outs, and retail projects. After several years in the field Mike became an HVAC estimator/APM for a large commercial HVAC company based in Philadelphia, Pa, working primarily on high rise buildings, universities, and hospital projects in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas. Soon after, Mike progressed into a Division 10-16 estimator, and now with Axis, Mike has taken on the new challenge of estimating all aspects of the project scope of work. Mike is also a 2012 Kutztown University graduate, holding a bachelors degree in business management.
Mr. Umberto Brun, has been in commercial construction for the last 36 years. Umberto has expertise in medical facilities, high rise construction, mall and life style center construction, educational and high-rated clean rooms. Mr. Brun severed as project superintendent, on various educational projects. Two being, West Vincent Elementary and Owen J. Roberts, Middle schools. Umberto is just finishing up a 66,000 sf Medical project in Oradell New Jersey.
Mr. Frawley has been working in commercial and multi-family residential, for the last 20 years. Shawn offers extensive experience with medical, adaptive reuse and out of ground multi-family high-rise buildings. He is often called upon to serve as a Project Manager in our more complex projects. Mr. Frawley is presently managing a multi-million-dollar adaptive-reuse project, in the Brewery Town section of Philadelphia.
As Director of Operations, Steve is responsible for the overall construction management process. He works closely with each job's project manager and superintendent and brings more than 35 years of experience, leadership and organization to the team. Steve has been directly involved in every aspect of construction, from scheduling and design phase coordination to cost engineering and overall field supervision. His experience includes projects large and small, including but not limited to, multi-phase retail complexes in excess of 500,000 Square Feet, complex medical environments, and tenant occupied renovations for office and hospitality environments. Steve holds and MBA in Organizational Development from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from Penn State University. He is a member of Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc.

Valerie first started with Axis Construction Management in 2006 and has been an integral part of the team ever since. She provides expertise in major roles of the Human resources department, managing 30+ employees; as well as being the Accounts Payable Specialist. Valerie received her Bachelors of Arts in Business from Weidner University and she continued her education experience by receiving two additional certificates in Human Resources in 2011 and another certificate in account in 2017.

As President and Founder of Axis Construction Management, Bill provides leadership and direction for construction management, general contracting, and project management. Bills numerous years of construction experience include a former position as Senior Project Manager and Director of Business Development for a prominent design/build firm in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania with extensive experience in high end office design and construction. Bill has orchestrated a wide variety of building campaigns for major sized projects throughout Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Florida and leads the Axis team with vision and tenacity that demands loyalty. Bill is a member of the Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Bill holds a degree in Business Management and Construction Technology.
