Alexandra Wallace

Experience Alexandra joined the firm in 2020 after several years practicing civil litigation, mainly focusing on real estate litigation and family law. She is a 2012 graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she was a member of the Dean's list and earned the CALI Award for Excellence in the Future for Family Law Trial Advocacy. During law school, Alexandra gained extensive real-world practice experience, including being selected for a prestigious extern program with a white-shoe family law firm, obtaining her mediator's license and mediating small claims cases at the Daley Center, and spending a semester as a student volunteer in the Cook County Domestic Violence Courthouse. Alexandra also served as a member of the Society of Women in Law and the Kent Justice Foundation, a student organization seeking to close the justice gap by raising financial support for students looking to work at nonprofit organizations. Prior to law school, Alexandra graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She was a student senator with the Associated Student Government and a member of the Phi Mu sorority. After graduation, she worked as the Office Director for a statewide political consulting firm in Columbus, Ohio, where she ran the largest office of the organization for several successful issue-based campaigns. Alexandra also served as an intern with the Ohio House Democratic Caucus. Alexandra is a proud member of the National Lawyer's Guild, a progressive bar association dedicated to fighting systemic injustices to use the law for the people. Alexandra is also a (currently lapsed) member of the Chicago Bar Association, where she served as an appointed investigator for the Judicial Evaluation Committee. She is a volunteer with Project Law Track, a partnership between the CBA and the Girl Scouts of America to help girl scouts learn about the law and run a mock trial at a real courthouse with a sitting judge. In her spare time, Alexandra is a dedicated skater with the Windy City Rollers, Chicago's premiere women's flat track roller derby team. Alexandra supports the firm in all areas, but focuses largely on real estate.

David L. Hartley

Sue Hartmann

Job Titles:
  • Paralegal and Office Manager
Experience Sue is a paralegal and office manager who is also involved in maintaining client relationships. Since joining the firm in 2005, she has become experienced in nearly all aspects of the firms work including the drafting of legal documents and the preparation of Income Tax Returns. Sue obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She began her career in the accounting department of Carson Pirie Scott's Chicago headquarters where she became a Statistical Supervisor working closely with management and buyers on developing and monitoring all aspects of planned and actual sales. Sue then moved into the jewelry industry where she was a production supervisor and sales manager. After taking time off to raise her family, Sue rejoined the workforce in a more administrative capacity working as an Office Manager for various companies before joining the firm. Her familiarity with tax preparation enabled her to take a more hands-on role within the firm, where she remains involved in document preparation and delivery.
