BASSANO FARMS

Bassano Farms is one of the largest potato shippers in Alberta. Potatoes are our main commodity, we also provide: carrots, cabbage and beets... Our little company began life in 1970 as Bassano Growers Ltd., a farmer co-operative. Now called Bassano Farms LTD (BFL), we are one of the largest potato shippers in Alberta. BFL is a privately held company employing about one hundred people at peak harvest. While potatoes are our largest commodity, BFL provides locally-grown carrots, cabbage and beets to the wholesale industry. In addition, through vertical integration, we bring processed, fresh cut products to market... At Bassano Farms, our goal is to produce high quality and safe food products for you, our valued customer.
