Alexandre Tétaud

Alexandre Tetaud is the co-founder of Resonance Advisory, a consulting firm providing project finance and infrastructure advisory services based in Paris, France. He spent over 15 years working in project and infrastructure finance with BNP Paribas and Fortis Bank in Paris and Brussels and Credit Agricole in New York. He was also a project director at Galaxy Fund, a private equity infrastructure fund sponsored by France's Caisse des Depôts. He has acted as lead financial advisor to various industrial and financial sponsors in major road infrastructure and concession projects, as well as privatization motorway tenders. He has been involved in project finance transactions in Greece, Cyprus, Finland, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Canada, Hungary, Germany, and the Netherlands in addition to France, Belgium, and the USA.

Cedric Dupuy

Mr. Dupuy is the founder and managing partner of Odyssun, a renewable energy-focused advisory firm. Odyssun provides a full range of services to developers and investors primarily in the solar energy sector from project origination to engineering, construction and operations management. Mr. Dupuy is an expert in off-grid solar PV applications. He spent 10 years with BP Solar working on various projects in France, France DOM-TOM, and Northern and Western Africa. His positions at BP Solar included Sales Manager for Northern and Western Africa, Morocco Branch Manager, Commercial Manager - Europe , and Large Commercial Projects Manager. His recent advisory clients have included private equity funds Helios Energies and HG Capital, and project developers SunEdison and Phaesun. Mr. Dupuy is a trained engineer, having graduated from the National Superior Engineering School of Industry and Mines of Alés, France. He is fluent in French and English.

Gary Groom

Gary Groom founded Finance Specialists LLC in 2000. Finance Specialists is a consulting group that specializes in providing innovative financing and corporate structuring services for a small selected group of clients worldwide. Mr. Groom is also a Principal in several Pittsburgh based companies specializing in heavy electrical construction and support of the rapidly expanding market for development, finance, construction and environmental impact evaluation of Marcellus/Utica shale energy projects centered around Pittsburgh, PA. Until August of 2002 Mr. Groom also served as Vice President of Project Finance for Ionics Incorporated in Watertown, MA. Ionics is a global water purification and treatment company that was acquired by GE in 2003. Before joining Ionics, Mr. Groom was Vice President of Project Finance and Development at Raytheon Engineers and Constructors, Inc. where he was responsible for coordinating strategic project development opportunities and customized project and export finance for major international clients. Mr Groom began his career at Westinghouse Electric Corporation where he was responsible for client finance ranging from power generation components to turnkey nuclear power stations. Mr. Groom is a member of the Private Export Funding Corporation (PEFCO) Exporter's Council and currently serves on the Board of Visitors for the School of Business at Robert Morris University. Mr. Groom is a past board member of the Washington D.C. based Coalition for Employment through Exports (CEE) and the National Foreign Trade Council (NFTC). He is the past Chairman of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) Export Finance Committee and has served as a member of the Advisory Board of the Institute for Infrastructure Finance. He has also authored articles for numerous trade and corporate publications and served as a staff member for Euromoney Project Finance Institute. Mr. Groom earned both his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with Honors and his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.

Gerard Verdou

Gerard Verdou is a independent international Energy and Water consultant based in Casablanca, Morocco covering African countries. He is an International Business Consultant for Africa Pramac, a supplier of handling equipment and electrical power generators, headquartered in Siena, Italy, with its African Regional office in Casablanca. Mr. Verdou spent over 30 years with Sweden's Atlas Copco, starting his career as Commercial Director in Morocco. He was General Manager of Atlas Copco Iran. Most recently, Gerard was General Manager for West Africa, covering 15 countries from Mauritania to Angola. He started his career as Commercial Director with the Casablanca subsidiary of Kleber Colombes, a French tire manufacturer now part of the Michelin Group. Mr. Verdou studied Business Administration in Casablanca, Morocco and Marseille, France. He was also a Reserve Officer in the French Corps of Engineers in Angers. He is fluent in French and English.

Guillaume Melle

Mr. Melle has also been involved in the construction and public works industries for the past 15 years. James M. Barkas

James M. Barkas is the founder of BNI Group, which offers a flexible array of services to corporations and banks, ranging from counsel on offset/countertrade planning and implementation to the attraction of foreign investment into emerging markets. Previously, Mr. Barkas was a Director at Newcourt Capital, responsible for structured trade financial and industrial participation. As an advisor to banks, the UNDP and major corpornations, he advised on how offset operations could be a tool for business trade and project development. For the World Bank, he advised on investment promotion programs for Ukraine, Armenia, Belarus, and the Emirate of Ras al Khaima (UAE). During his earlier career in banking, he was a Vice President in Trade Finance and offset/countertrade, as well as a credit and lending officer. He specialized in Japanese Trading Companies and East European banks and companies while servicing multinational corporations. Throughout his career in international baking, Mr. Barkas has contributed to articles on trade finance and alternative financing mechanisms, and has lectured at numerous trade conferences around the world. Mr. Barkas is a graduate of Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School, and holds MA and MA LD degrees from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy. He also conducted professional research under contracts with Harvard, MIT, and Fletcher. He is fluent in English, and can read Russian, Croatian, Serbian, and French.

Madani Said

Madani Said is currently Managing Partner and Board Member of COCHEPA, a privately-held industrial packaging company based in Casablanca, Morocco. At COCHEPA, Mr. Said is responsible for export sales -almost exclusively to other African countries - which currently represent 50% of the company's revenues, up from less than 20% 5 years ago. He also manages a 300-acre citrus farm in the province of Beni-Mellal, east of Marrakech, which produces 5000 tons per year and is one of the top 20 citrus producers in Morocco. Mr. Said is a Consultant to various multinational companies interested in entering the Moroccan market. He helped the Chase Manhattan Bank to develop a debt for export goods program with the Moroccan government. He also assisted the Makro group design its retailing distribution ("cash and carry") strategy for the Moroccan market. Madani Said is Honorary President of the Alumni Association of the Lyceé Descartes of Rabat, from which he graduated in 1971. Furthermore, he is a co-founder of Paris-based Agency for French Schools Abroad (AEFE) , together with the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He is a current board member of the organization. In addition, he is a member of Morocco's Royal Automobile Sports Federation. Mr. Said is a graduate of the Belgian State Faculté of Agronomic Sciences of Gembloux. He also obtained a Master's degree in management from the Solvay School of Business. Moreover, he is a co-founder of Club France-Maroc, which was established to assist the reintegration of Moroccan Graduates of French schools into Morocco. He speaks French, English, and Moroccan Arabic fluently.
