SYMPOSIUM

With generous support from our institutions and The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the Digital Bridges for Humanistic Inquiry: A Grinnell College/University of Iowa Partnership has been a fascinating, rewarding, and instructive experience in collaboration, digital pedagogy, and digital humanities practice. Our August 8-10 Digital Bridges Symposium brought together faculty, staff, and students from both institutions and digital scholars from across the country as we reflected on what we have learned, how projects have taken shape, and what the future might hold as the grant draws to a close. We have helped build a strong network of digital humanities scholarship and practice at both of our institutions. Through this symposium, we expanded that network by connecting with an ever growing circle of faculty, staff, and students who have also been developing projects, infrastructure, and fascinating new courses...
