Adam Smith joined the EIP team in September 2020, as Asset Manager. Adam has over 20 years of professional experience with a prominent concentration on multifamily apartments. His career has focused on the acquisition, asset and property management of private real estate. Throughout Adam's career, he has successfully executed multiple value-add strategies providing direct oversight and management of over $100 million in capital property improvements. Adam is responsible for all operations, capital execution and asset management functions on EBSCO's multifamily portfolio. He provides oversight of third-party management, providing guidance and continued support to deliver optimum results for the properties.
Leslie Yeilding, President and General Manager of EBSCO Income Properties, has been at the helm since EBSCO Industries, Inc. entered the multifamily industry by creating EBSCO Income Properties, LLC, in September 2007. Leslie's vast experience in the commercial real estate industry, including extensive experience with acquisitions, sales, refinances, transaction and debt structures, positioned Leslie to build the impressive portfolio that EBSCO has acquired. Leslie is actively involved in apartment associations at the local, state, and national levels, currently serving as Regional VP (representing Region IX) of the National Apartment Association, as well as serving on various committees of the NAA. In recognition of Leslie's significant contributions to the apartment industry, Leslie was inducted into the Greater Birmingham Apartment Association's Hall of Fame in December 2018.
Recently, Rich Foster joined the EBSCO team from the property management side of real estate. His background includes Regional Director and Director of Property Management experience. The past 10 years Rich supported Regional Directors and Community Directors with property performance, profitability and operational growth. He worked with EBSCO the past 4 years and with other third-party management clients with portfolios that encompass lease ups, value add and stabilized assets. A proven leader, Rich has a passion for developing powerhouse teams that operate at an elevated level of excellence and generate results within budgetary guidelines.
With over 30 years experience in multifamily housing, his competence lies in lease ups and properties ranging in product quality from AA to C. His most recent portfolio consists of communities throughout the southeast with a focus on Alabama and Florida. He also works in the Georgia and Tennessee markets.
Rich is an active member of the RIver Region Apartment Association and the Greater Birmingham Apartment Association. In 2016 Rich served on the Board of Directors for the Orlando Apartment Association and was awarded Regional Property Manager of the Year. In 2019 he was awarded River Region Apartment Association Regional Property Manager of the Year. In 2007, he was issued a Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor designation through the National Apartment Association. Rich's degree was in Marketing at West Georgia College (formerly Carrollton Tech/ College) and studied Marketing at American Intercontinental University in Atlanta. He is a native of Newnan, Georgia, but currently lives in Birmingham, Alabama.
