Amy Brouse

Amy is a new board member as of August 2016. She became active with the Broadway Players in 2015 with the production of Gypsy. She has put her past 20 years of dance experience to use in order to help choreograph the last couple of musicals and enjoys helping backstage as much as possible; although you never know when the director will randomly decide to dress her up and stick her on stage. She is originally from Union City, Indiana and relocated to Princeton in 2008. Amy graduated from Manchester College with a B.A. degree in Business Management, but is currently working in Human Resources.

Carl Johnson

Carl moved to Gibson County in 2011 in order to start an organic farm. Shortly afterwards, he and his wife attended The Broadway Players production of "The Regifters," and have been fans ever since, rarely missing a show. He was involved in theatre in high school, and was a member of the International Thespian Society. After retiring from the military in 2016, Carl began to audition for parts, and has been in five productions, to date. He is also a musician, singer, and songwriter. He became a member of the board in September 2018, and strongly believes that the arts are very important to the quality of life in any community.

Celeste Walker

Celeste Walker grew up in Minnesota and graduated with a B.A. in history from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN. During a study abroad program in St. Petersburg, Russia she met Melvin Walker whom she later married. She and Melvin spent seven years in Southern California where they had their two children, Desmond and Olivia. In 2001 they relocated to Princeton, IN to be closer to family. Celeste currently teaches at Princeton Community Middle School. She initially got involved in theatre by auditioning and getting the role of Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan in GCTC's production of M*A*S*H*. Since then Celeste has been involved in many roles in GCTC productions. She has also served as coordinator for Gibson County Youth Drama Camp.

Gary L. Schmidt

A long-time supporter of the theatre, Gary joined the board in the fall of 2013. Retired after 39 years of corn breeding with Dupont Pioneer, Gary is looking forward to lending a hand on theatre productions. Gary and wife Terra have three children: Karl, who works for the University of Oklahoma, Kristofor, who works at Toyota and is also on the theatre board, and Karen, who lives and works in Midland Texas. The Schmidts also have two grandchildren, Luke and Zoey.

Judy Barber - Treasurer

Judy lives with Randy, her husband, just north of Princeton and they have two adult children and a super sweet 3 year old grandson. She graduated from Murray State University in 1982 with a BS in Special Education. After 20+ years of teaching she relocated to Princeton. She currently drives a school bus for South Gibson School Corporation and spends time talking about and selling dōTERRA certified pure therapeutic grade essential oils. If you have any questions she would love to help you find the answer. Recently, Judy is addressing her health by losing weight and changing habits into healthy habits. In fact, she has become a health coach where she can help other people also become healthy. In August 2016 Judy joined the Gibson County Theatre Company board and now serves as the treasurer. She loves working with the Broadway Players. One of her favorite things is watching a production from start to finish, and believes the talent of this group is absolutely amazing!

Kara Gray

Since she was a child, Kara has had a passion for the arts and theatre. She began her acting career in elementary school, and blossomed as a stage performer in high school thanks to the mentoring and direction of Leslie Morgan. After that she joined the Broadway Players (formerly known as GCTC) in 2008 and has been an active member since - whether it be acting, directing, costuming, or running sound. When Kara isn't at the theater she can be found at R'z Cafe where she currently works as a server, or at home with her boyfriend Trace, and their two cats, Obi-Wan Catnobi and Padme Meowmidala.

Lori Lloyd - CMO

Lori is married to Vance Lloyd, Sr and mother to Vance Lloyd Jr and Cody Lloyd. Lori is a life-long Gibson County resident and graduated from Oakland City University with a B.S. in Management. Lori has worked for Toyota Tsusho America, Inc since 2003, recently as a Senior Project Specialist. Lori began working with Broadway Players in September 2015. Since then, she has worked with props and been on stage for 3 Broadway Players productions. This is Lori's first foray into theater and she's brought a lot of enthusiasm and passion to each production.

Maria Weaver - VP

Since her first show in 6th grade, Maria has had a passion for theatre. She was an active thespian throughout high school and college, having mostly contributed as a performer, a props mistress, and in costuming, but willing to lend a helping hand anywhere. Maria graduated from Murray State University in 1998 with a BA in vocal music. Maria and Mike Weaver married in 2000. They live in Haubstadt with their children, Megan, Michael, Will, and Mia. A native of Evansville, Maria was proud to make Gibson County her home. After almost ten years off of the stage, Maria auditioned for GCTC in 2008 for Into the Woods, where she portrayed the Witch. Since then, she has participated in several GCTC productions on and off stage. Maria is delighted to assist the board in this next chapter in GCTC's future!

Ray McKinnon

Ray has been involved with Broadway Theatre (formerly GCTC) since 2008. He has primarily worked backstage but has started helping on lights over the past year. Ray, his husband Bill, three boys Cameron, Caleb and Carson all live here in Princeton. Ray is the Director of Administration for PMR Healthcare in Evansville. Ray is excited to be back on the board after a couple of years of break.
