KATHERINE CARTER

Katherine Carter is a Kentucky based artist who received her BFA with an emphasis in Metalsmithing and Jewelry from Eastern Kentucky University. Carter's studio practice is currently an exploration of femininity, sorrow, and joy. She garners inspiration from the natural world, everyday life,and literature. Carter also designs unique and intricate art jewelry using a variety of materials and techniques. Awarded Best in Show 2019 and Best in Photography 2018, her work has been exhibited throughout the Kentucky region.
