Michelle McKinney, Esquire Michelle McKinney is the founder of The Law Office of Michelle McKinney, LLC. She has developed a professional rapport with many well respected members of the legal community in the Dallas area. Ms. McKinney is a member of both the State Bar of Texas and the Dallas Bar Association. She has volunteered as an attorney for the Dallas County Public Defender's Office and the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program. Michelle McKinney received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville, Arkansas. While at the U of A, she participated in the law school's bankruptcy clinic, completed an internship with the Federal Public Defender's Office, and worked as a summer law clerk for the Honorable Jorge Solis of the United States District Court, Northern District of Texas. Prior to attending law school, Ms. McKinney received her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work in 2008 from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. At Rutgers, she founded a volunteer program for students interested in Environmental Science and volunteered as a site coordinator for the VITA program, which is an IRS sponsored program for low-income individuals and families. Michelle McKinney also earned Dean's List Honors every semester and won several academic scholarships and awards throughout her undergraduate career. Michelle McKinney has gained a wealth of knowledge and skill through her volunteer experiences. She continues to expand her practice and stay abreast of important changes in the law by attending continuing education classes and seminars on a regular basis.Prior to attending law school, Ms. McKinney received her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work in 2008 from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
