In law school, he received several awards including the Alvin Wolff Award for Excellence in Client Counseling Competition, the Academic Excellence Award for Best Student in Client Counseling, and the Graduate Education Tuition Scholarship Award in Law. Dr. Ndonwi also represented his law school at a national and an international competition, winning 1st Place at the 2017 International Patent Drafting Competition held in Detroit, Michigan, and 2nd Place at the 2016 American Bar Association Client Counseling Regional Competition held in Saint Louis.
