Carly Beadle

Carly is a qualified Social Worker, specialising in Child Protection and Safeguarding practice. She has experience within Referral and Assessment, Safeguarding, Court Work, working with Care Experienced Children and working with Mothers and Children who have experienced domestic abuse. Carly has practiced social work within both England and Scotland and has delivered therapeutic group work programmes to children and their mothers who have experienced domestic abuse; providing a joint approach for child and mother to achieve healing and recovery together. Carly has experience in frontline, operational and strategic management and is passionate about ensuring the voice of the child is heard. Carly has a particular interest in understanding domestic abuse and its impact on families and outcomes for children. Carly is a visible and personal leader, who values integrity and accountability within the relationships around her. Carly brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience within the children's social care sector.

Emma Tickner

Emma provides the initial point of contact for all professionals interested in engaging with Shared Vision and has an in-depth knowledge of the services and support the company provides.

Kirstie White

Kirstie is a qualified social worker with experience in operational and strategic management, including referral and assessment, child protection, looked after children and court work. Kirstie is passionate and committed to child protection and all safeguarding matters as well as working in partnership to ensure children's safety and wellbeing. She is a manager with proven skills in performance management, mentoring, training, and appraisal of social workers. She excels in her ability to articulate a clear vision that engages individuals at a level they can identify with and has experience in leading and embedding complex change and improvement programmes.

Marinda Beaton

Marinda is a qualified social worker with 16 years of experience working with children and families, predominantly child protection. This includes experience in statutory case work as a Social Work practitioner, Team Manager in a child protection service and strategic management as a Business Manager for a Local Safeguarding Children Board. In her native country of South Africa, Marinda delivered trauma therapy on behalf of the South African Police department for victims of rape and sexual assaults. She also delivered training and workshops to schools, parents, prisons and young people and adults with mental health difficulties with the aim to enhance their skills and ability to cope and manage the challenges they face on a day to day basis. Marinda managed and helped delivered a symposium on Foetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS) to a number of professionals across the Western Cape district of South Africa. Out of 187 countries, a study found that South Africa has the highest prevalence rate of FAS, at 111 per 1,000 people. Marinda has a passion for children and vulnerable people and strongly believe that their voices should be heard and recognised throughout the interventions of all professionals / adults who work with children and young people. She is committed to encouraging professionals to work in partnership and collectively to ensure children are safe and well cared for.

Marisa De Jager

Marisa is a registered social worker with statutory operational & strategic management experience. She is passionate about effective social work practice, has a commitment to continuing professional development, investment in practice and building on transformational strength-based and reflective practice models that ensure prevention, diversion and intervention opportunities making a difference to children and young people's lives. She has strong experience working with stakeholders, including service users, carers, families and communities to deliver change and quality improvements across systems. Marisa designed and now leads the Nib SharedVision social work and safeguarding improvement programs across the public sector. She regularly undertakes safeguarding reviews for the private, public, charity and museum sector. She leads, motivate and inspire social workers and others across organisations ensuring the services provided are effective and responsive. Marisa is also an approved ISO 9001 QMS Auditor/Lead Auditor (Certification number 3433) for assessing quality management systems. She has a longstanding interest in innovation and finding more effective ways of protecting children and vulnerable adults. She is the main architect of the national and international #voc #childsvoice (Voice of the Child) campaign on social media platforms. Marisa has presented at several national and international conferences including BAPSCAN in the UK and ISPCAN in Canada and The Hague. She currently has various contracts Nationally relating to the above reflected in the "work experience sector" on linkedin.

Nigel Boulton

Nigel served as a Police officer and has over 35 years of experience in organisational leadership, management and innovation together with a strong background in safeguarding professional practice. Nigel spent most of his career as a Detective serving for 11 years as a Detective Superintendent leading and managing the investigation of Homicide and Serious and Organised Crime enquiries which included safeguarding enquiries concerning children and vulnerable adults. He worked extensively in the UK and abroad. He designed and delivered the original concept of Multi Agency Safeguarding Hubs, the true design of which draws on his experiences dealing with risk assessment and decision making. He now works with both statutory and non-statutory organisations with Marisa de Jager, his social work partner within Nib SharedVision, to ensure all children and vulnerable adults are afforded protection from and support in relation to need, harm and risk. Nigel undertakes safeguarding reviews for the private, public, charity and museum sector and he supports the Local Government Association peer review process as a specialist peer in relation to safeguarding.

Rachel Maloney

Rachel Maloney is a qualified Social Worker who has worked with children and families from diverse backgrounds in social care settings for over 25 years. She has particular experience and knowledge of safeguarding and supporting children who have been sexually exploited, adopted or fostered, experiencing mental health issues, children seeking asylum, trafficked young people and Young Carers. She is an Independent Social Work Consultant and trainer, and chairs local authority and voluntary sector Adoption and Fostering panels, as well as working as a consultant and trainer with a number of children's charities. She volunteers as a trustee for her local Carers organisation and supports the board to strategically plan for the needs of Young Carers within the borough. She is passionate about ensuring children and young people are supported to have and achieve high aspirations, challenging processes that do not support children and young people to access services when they need to, tenaciously working to break down barriers to enable children to have their views heard, listened to, and acted on where this will enhance their life opportunities. She is also passionate about driving forward an uplift in Social Work practice, through effective evidence based supervision, training, and analytical sound interventions.

Sarah Hall

Sarah is a facilitator of learning, and of conversations, a driver of reflective practice and she is experienced in conflict resolution. She is a passionate advocate for children, families and social work professionals, working hard to ensure that any practice is guided by the most up to date and relevant research. She brings knowledge, skills and experience, not just her own, that of each child, each family or each professional she has known in practice. Sarah maintains a professional value and personal standard of finding out what others bring with them, or what they need, thus integrating those very ingredients into collective wisdom and shared goals for children, families, colleagues and partnerships.
